Once the umpires quit giving him a large strike zone and batters learned to wait for him to actually throw a strike, the outing described above is pretty much what Giants fans came to expect from him.

SF front office isn't known for making savvy decisions, but dumping this primadonna was the smartest move they've made in a long time.

Brian Wilson used to be a funny, free-spirited closer, like a Zach Galifianakis of baseball.  Then he turned into just another egotistical scumbag primadonna closer, like a Quentin Tarantino of baseball.  So I don't have much sympathy.
