Back in the VHS rental days my dad rented a movie for us kids. The clerk grabbed the copy of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland instead since they had the adult movies mixed in with the rest. He popped it in the machine and off he went to do something else. My parents did catch on midway through the first scene though. We should have turned the volume down.

But of course watching evil aliens blow up downtown LA, Washington DC and assorted other places is just fine.

So you clearly saw that the tape wasn't Independence day based upon the label, but you said. "What the heck, lets play it anyways, how bad can it be!"
