Mine look more like blood clots, should I be concerned?

Seriously, considering how many politicians don't show up for stuff, and how bad it hurt when my gall bladder went out and my pancreas tried to rebel, this guy deserves some credit for sure.

Yikes! IDK about blood clots. You may want to get that checked out. Mine looked like a piece of concrete with other smaller colored stones in it.

Kinda like this, but a bit smaller

God, that's a great picture. Makes me feel for you. J/K about the blood clots, but I sure do have sympathy for people and kidney stones.

Aw. You suck. Making me think you had kidney stones.
Felt like a lit match was trying to claw its way out of my bladder.

Was about the size of a pencil eraser.

A little smaller than one of those. But it looked like one of those rocks I showed above. No soft, round edges.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, when my gall bladder attack happened, my MIL, who had been a nurse for 30 years, thought I might be having a heart attack, everything seemed to hurt, and when I had my pancreas attack, it felt like a 4" hole was being bored straight through my gut. I couldn't describe if my back hurt, my stomach hurt, my ribs ached, anything, all I know is that I expected to look down and find a perfect hole going through my abdomen, front to back. Sepnt the entire weekend on a morphine drip for THAT little adventure.

And holy fark, the size of one of those erasers? That deserves something akin to sainthood, if you ask me.

I've had to sit through meetings during kidney stone attacks - it's no fun.

/I grow them big - they always have to be surgically removed

Like I said, a little bit smaller than one of those.

When it first was traveling out of my kidney, I went to a urologist who took some x-rays and said it was close to the big side of passing. He gave me something. He said, "bottle will say only take one, but you're a big ole boy, so you can tolerate 2." Got the script filled and it was a grand total of 8 pills.
I took a couple a day or 2 later when it was finishing working out of the kidney duct. A few were wasted on 'misfires' where it hit the back of my urethra and hung out there for a while. But I would instinctively stop peeing, so no joy.
I was down to 3 pills and came up with my cunning plan.
The next time it tried to make its escape, I took 2 pills, waited about 45 minutes for them to kick in, then drank about a half a gallon of water. And held it.
And held it.
And, boy I was hurting, so I get in the shower and push for all I'm worth.
I actually remember the sound it made as it hit the back of the shower.
How I remained standing is a mystery that shall remain.

I took my last pain pill and wept quietly til sleep claimed me.

/tru story
//hurt the next 2 days to pee
///have told this story a few times

Holy crap, that scares me... I've had a couple of issues, but nobody's found anything. If those are just precursors to the big quake, I'm not sure I should ever use a bathroom without notifying someone, because I've almost passed out as it was. I can't imagine something like that.

And there's no way 8 pills would do it. Jesus, i already take meds for my back like candy, they'd have to dose the fark out of me to pass it "willingly". I salute you!

I don't remember what they were, but they were strong. Narcotics, I imagine.
I have a lovely immune system that rapidly builds up immunity to pain meds very quickly. I take as little as possible now a days 'cause when I need them, I want them to work. Back in high school, if I had a bad head ache (which would turn into massive migraines in college [I mean figuratively blinding pain]), I would down 3 Tylenol PMs before going to school, just to dull it a bit.

People ask why I don't do drugs or drink, I tell them 'cause I would never be able to afford to do either.

Yeah, i build up a tolerance to meds really quick, even standard stuff I have to get bigger doses or it doesn't work. Rotating things, 1 month on 1 sleeping aid, then next on another helps, but the pain meds are to similar I think to work that way.

Yeah, TMI, Mr. Grossman, but you've still got my vote.
