Sad thing is, if we make the playoffs next year, we give up our first rounder for this gentleman.  But on the bright side, there seems little chance of that happening.

Yet another wonderful piece of the Doug Collins legacy. Moultrie, Kwame Brown's contract (and Doug wanted to sign him for *longer*), shipping out two promising rookies (who he didn't like) for Anour Heineken-swilling overlord Bad-Knees Bynum, the corpse of Jason Richardson...

Almost this.

The Bynum trade was the right trade to make. You weren't going to get a SuperStar Free Agent, you weren't going to get a superstar in the middle of the draft, and Iguodala while a top 25 player wasn't the player you build a franchise around. 
It was a risk that was worth taking at the time, it just didn't pan out.
