Italian soccer is not my area, but from what I can see... this guy isn't exactly a major star, rolling in the dough. Good on him either way, but this seems to have been a decision truly from the heart.

He made 800k euros last year, so certainly not a poor man. but yeah, he's not gonna keep that kinda cash coming in much longer either.

Bobby, I didn't think I'd ever need to tell you this, but I would be a bad parent if I didn't. Soccer was invented by European ladies to keep them busy while their husbands did the cooking.

That's cute, but how come he gets first crack at it? What about all the childless couples that have been waiting years?

Plus,this sounds like a really  "on a whim" thing. Adopting a child is something one should mull over for a period of time, not decide on in a moment of ...um, generosity? I guess.
