Like Teddy Kennedy, another high roller learned the benefits to driving a VW Bug.

I know valet stories worse than that one.

It was kind of smooth it just sat there floating.

It didn't go very far, slowly getting lower and lower until it starting shorting out, and then the lights came on and the trunk popped.

Then it sunk.

A Bonita Springs man is reeling from a $23,000 loss

The Big "M" Casino paid for the loss in full.

Is he still reeling?

Judging by the looks of his car in the water, that's gonna be one hell of a reel-in. He's gonna need a bigger boat.

Never ask or allow the valet to wash your car.

The water improved it. What a forgettable car.

i recently quit a valet job. one of the funnier stories i have actually didn't involve a valet causing a problem. a very unruly customer was so upset that he was having to pay another day's worth (our company is on a 24 hour non-prorated pay scale...he went over a couple of hours or something), that after he went thru all the hassle of dealing with the valet at the podium and involving a supervisor who gave him a discount, the guy sped off in the garage and crashed his own masarati into a concrete pilar!

so of course this guy, who had given the valets and supervisor hell over $27 (which given this guy's apparent financial status was probably like $0.25 to me), had to go back to the valet booth and deal with them in finding out who to call.

luckily it was all on him...no valets did anything wrong

it was so hilarious, i had to take photos of his car still resting wrecked against the pillar

Feh. I've had worse. One actually put silver cufflinks on my shirt and a gold tie pin on my tie. I was blackballed from my club as a result. Hard times, hard times.

How the hell could this happen! The owner isn't wanting 100k for emotional distress and the Valet company didn't take months trying to dodge responsibility?
