Serious Black: Or the Farkmins could do us a solid and show us who is behind the curtain.

Drew doesn't roll that way. If subby wants out, subby can damn well come out without being pushed.

/If two or more trolls want to play "I am Spartacus subby", subby can settle it by turning on "Show everyone your approved (greenlit) submissions" in their own Fark Preferences.
//not subby

El_Frijole_Blanco: Not only is subby a math moron but the fact is not all of America needs to sign up for Obamacare as those with existing insurance are exempt

Math is hard.

/I was told there would be no math

Voiceofreason01: DamnYankees: This headline has to be a purposeful joke, right?

I'm tentatively willing to entertain the possibility but the consensus is that submitter is dumber than a sack of hammers. So we're out-voted.

Have you ever been whacked with a sack of hammers?  Lemme tell ya, it ...SMARTS.

Just like hammermitter.  SMRT.

green-lit for mocking!

2014-03-31 01:48:13 PM
If you unskew the numbers, you'll find that only .03% of Real Americans have signed up, if that many.

2014-03-31 01:48:22 PM
and if those 9.3 million go to general practitioners rather then the emergency room we all save money

2014-03-31 01:49:43 PM
Since when did the US have a population of over 30 Billion?

2014-03-31 01:50:01 PM
Did people who already had health insurance through their employer have to enroll ? What about children? No? Because that makes the number who signed up vs the entire population of the country rather dumb.

2014-03-31 01:50:04 PM
subtard... can you teach me how to math?

2014-03-31 01:51:30 PM
Wow, so there are now over 31 billion Americans, who knew?

Americans are f*ckin'!

Come the 2016 race, not a single GOP candidate will be talking about repeal.

2014-03-31 01:53:44 PM

vpb: I wonder if subby realizes that Obamacare is for people who don't have insurance and signing up the entire population isn't it's goal?

But how are we supposed to death panel all the conservatives and jews if we don't have everybody covered?

Wow, I bet if we defunded NPR we could get another 0.03% insured!

/way to math, Subby.

2014-03-31 01:57:10 PM

FlashHarry: • 9.5 million people have signed up for what?
• 9.5 million is 3 percent of 320,000,000, not .03
• most people receive insurance through their employers, via medicare or via tricare - obamacare is only intended to help those who were uninsured
• the program has only just started

so, in the final analysis:

According to the article, 13.5 million people are benefiting from ACA when you combine insurance purchased through exchanges, medicare expansion and people staying on their parents insurance until 26.

Thanks Obama!

Today we salute you, Mr Dumber-than-a-box-of-bags-of-hammers-subby (*deepbreath* Mr Dumathanaboxabagahmmasubbb-ay)
While some might take a moment to fire up our laptop's calculator, or a real one, or even an app to do the math (only 18.95 on iTunes!)
You bravely sally forth, doing the math you must do as a subby to make your self feel better (20% of my butt is hurting).

So crack open a nice cold Fark Liter thread, Potentate of the Potatoes - while it may not be the correct answer, it's Right. On. Every time. (Mr Dumathanaboxabagahmmasubbb-ay)

Thanks, indeed.

2014-03-31 02:11:22 PM
Well under 0.03%

2014-03-31 02:12:16 PM
so according to subby's exhaustive mathematical computations, 9.5mm would be 0.03% of 31.6 billion people. Currently the Earth's population is only 7.046 billion

Perhaps there is some justice in this cruel world after all.

grumpfuff: I like how the last one basically admits "We think our viewers are so dumb, they think 8.6 is higher than 8.8 or 9!

They balance out the libs' callow attitude toward conservative thought with a callow attitude towards conservative's brain power.

2014-03-31 02:13:53 PM
So subby, aside from your TMF (total math fail)... Are we supposed to be upset that literally millions of human beings now have healthcare that they didn't have before? Because the rest of us aren't all sociopathic shiatheels who'd rather those people died or went bankrupt for no good goddamn reason other than they didn't have the good sense to be born in to money or lie to old conservative malcontents all day for profit.

If anything, we should be pissed that "Obamacare" doesn't go far enough and doesn't institute a single-payer system like the rest of the civilized world. It's the right thing to do for both the country and for our people. But let me guess, the only way you can get boner any more is while listening to Wagner while masturbating to thoughts of poor people dying from easily treatable diseases.

2014-03-31 02:13:58 PM
Out submitter. It's a moral imperative.
