Subby forgot to move the decimal point two places to the right.

2014-03-31 10:40:05 AM
Not only is subby a math moron but the fact is not all of America needs to sign up for Obamacare as those with existing insurance are exempt

2014-03-31 10:40:07 AM
Subby...are you looking at WORLD population? Or can you not math?

Either way, this is an amazing fail. I want this to go green.

Obamacare has also caused the US population to increase 100 fold.

2014-03-31 10:44:46 AM
It estimated that the uninsured rate for that population has fallen from 20.9 percent to 16.6 percent.

Not a bad start.

2014-03-31 10:44:54 AM
• 9.5 million people have signed up for what?
• 9.5 million is 3 percent of 320,000,000, not .03
• most people receive insurance through their employers, via medicare or via tricare - obamacare is only intended to help those who were uninsured
• the program has only just started

so, in the final analysis:

Which is weird, because birth control is mandatory, and you're required to undergo by annual abortions, just in case.

Honestly, we're having some trouble with that. We just can't get the damn trains to run on time. It's embarrassing.

I got my mammogram when I went in for my bi-annual abortion. It was an all-in-one clinic, the Tri-State Abortionplex and Imam training center. I think they were hauling old people in the back for death panels.

For some reason, I get the feeling you'll be really pissed off that you made this mistake. :D

I think the 2010 Census estimated that about 15.5% of Americans were uninsured, so if that number still holds and the U.S. population is around 320 million, then close to 20% of uninsured have signed up for it. Seems like a pretty decent number.

I'm Canadian also.  I used a US proxy account to sign up, zip code 12345, and my pet's name Chairman Meow.  I can't wait for that US Government subsidy check because I put Chairman Meow's income as cuddles and catnaps.

I got a gift card from there for ten free abortions.  My GF and I stopped using all protection...we don't want that card to go to waste!  Plus, the waiting room is a great place to hook up with people for deviant non-biblical sex parties..

Technically, that's not true either. The ACA/Obamacare is a bundle of different laws and regulations, many of which affect people who already have insurance, even good insurance.

True. I've had excellent employer based health insurance for over 10 years. But thanks to ACA, I no longer pay a co-pay for my annual visit, and my birth control is free of charge.

So add me to the list of people positively affected by ACA, even if not to the extent of "Can now get cancer treatment".

The goal of ACA is spelled out right in the preamble of the law itself but if you had to summarize it, it is right there in the title.  The idea is to make health care in the US more affordable.

Of course. Now that I can get free birth control, it means I get to have more sex. Because that's how hormonal birth control works, you see.

If you are going to have more sex you will need more free time so I assume you and many of compatriots will also quit their jobs (might as well boost the Government subsidy anyways).

Sure it does things like allowing kids to stay on their parents insurance until they are 26 and preventing the exclusion of pre-existing" conditions", but that doesn't involve "signing up for Obamacare"

If we just abolished Obamacare, and instead refunded the cost of that program to every God fearing, natural born American, each of us would get a $100,000 tax refund.

60% of the time, it works every time.
