Wow, that sounds really hazardous.  People should definitely stop snoring.

I hear that breathing oxygen is also very dangerous.

Ugh my wife is having a sinus problem right now, snoring doesn't even begin to describe the unholy noise she makes in her sleep.

Wife says I snore, so she just elbows me to make me roll over onto my side.

/Personally think she just enjoys hitting me.

Sleep on your side to cut down on snoring. If, like me, you also have a wonky stomach, sleep on your right side (left shoulder pointing towards Ceiling Cat). I had a gf who said I'd quit buzzsawing if she poked me in the forehead, and I have no memories of this ever happening, so that might be a win-win.

My rather corpulent buddy INSISTS on sleeping on his back. I'm pretty sure I can hear his snoring in NJ from my place in DC.

Lovely article.  SNORING WILL KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP.  Notably absent: ways to prevent snoring.

My wife snores. Don't get it, she's stick thin...  I usually just move down to the couch. Don't need the hassle.

My ex-wife took Taekwondo when she was younger. you'd never think with the wicked elbow she'd give me at 2am. Can't lay on my back anymore without having a flashback...

CPAP, which was mentioned in TFA, works wonders. Mrs. Element uses one and I sure do need one as well. Reggie White is one of the better known people killed by untreated sleep apnea.

It also looks like part of the type for CRAP fell off.

She might have a deviated septum.

She makes them while awake too, you just have to get the angle right.

I think my husband's snoring is more hazardous to my health.  It's been years since I've had consistently good nights sleeps.  I sleep with a fan going, earplugs, often times with a heavy pillow over my head, in a king size bed, but he still drowns it all out.  Of course it really depends on how heavy he is at the time and how tired he is.  I've had to force him to go to bed earlier on a consistent basis which has helped a lot since he's no longer running on 4-5 hours on average.  For some reason when he gets 6-8 hours on average he doesn't snore.  Of course if he gains 10 pounds it's back to snoreville.  It's truly awful for the partner of a snorer :(.

Best thing ever. I was cranky and exhausted on a daily basis. O2 levels were very low and I stopped breathing every few minutes. It may have saved my life.

If you snore much, get a sleep study done. I hated my machine at first but I can't live without it now.

A few months ago I was snoring so my wife poked me and told me to roll over. In my sleep I responded "you'll get over it." I remember nothing but I really pissed her off.

He needs to get to a sleep clinic ASAP.  Sleep Apnea kills, it increases  one's risk of heat attack etc. etc.   I got my CPAP machine 5 years ago and it transformed my life.  More energy, less laziness, lose weight, faster metabolism, healthier sleep-partner, too!!!
