Far Cough: Face for radio.

Personality for an airtight crate tossed down a very deep abandoned well.

Welp, took one whole sentence until this fark headline was wrong.

As much as I find her a pretty much mostly unfunny, shrill harpy: CBS should put her in the on-deck circle to replace Dave Letterman.

Is subby implying she was sober all this time? It always seemed like she was trashed on that show.

Jesus. Box her and George Lopez up, and mail them to a studio marked "DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE" already.

Either that, or give them two of them a reality show called "Chasing Voyager 1, Literally".

well, she's no longer farking anyone in charge.  I'm surprised she lasted this long.

*I* find her funny.  At least somewhat.

/her guests are usually funnier

She's like a female version of the famous "Nixon-Kennedy" debate. When I see her on TV, she seems like a dour and unhappy person that's trying too hard to be funny by dead-panning everything and being as annoyingly abrasive and dismissive as possible. Then I heard her get interviewed on Stern and she was well-spoken, engaging, and actually somewhat funny. Also, it's not surprising that she's leaving E!, and I'm guessing it wasn't voluntary given how she trashed them on Stern's show, saying they're "clueless".

I look forward to the new replacement E! picks for its "Quick! The Soup is off, get off this network before your brain decays!" programming.

E! is pretty clueless, but they have always allowed a lot of room for their show members to comment about the network. The Soup personalities have been pretty consistent about airing similar views.

When I was still with my EX, this is the one show she always had to watch. I honestly think she does have her moments, but more often than not she comes across as a biatchy curmudgeon. I think in small doses, she's not bad. But if you watch her a lot, her schtick gets real old quick.

As several of them have said before, this is the only job most of the comedy writers on that show can get. Standing in that same unemployment line with them would not be fun.

And watching her show, there's an obvious reason those writers won't be hired elsewhere.

The article says she was making $9 million a year. Excuse me while I go outside and shoot myself.

I like her. She's a reasonably decent writer, too.

I admit I read her books and at times they make me lol.
