Just when you think slow zombies couldn't get any slower, we find an even slower species.

Florida has an odd combination of shuffling zombies and rage zombies.

Financial instruments are set to tank the housing market again in Florida, I'm not sure what the secondary ramifications will be to the rest of the country, but Florida is going to take a shot to the nuts. Lots of REITs/hedge funds out there buying up properties in the state that are due to be sold off in the next couple years, this is likely to cause lots excess supply, and dramatically lower property values in the state.

Really when the bubble burst in '08 Florida didn't fall far enough. Home values in parts of the state had more than doubled in less than a decade leading up to the bubble, and now they are still artificially high, in large part to the demand created from these financial instruments.

The only way to eradicate the zombies is with vampires. Er, realtors. I meant realtors.

I don't know. I think a lap dance loses something when parts of the dancer are falling off.

/Not to mention the ripping your throat out thing.

I would take one of those houses.

NSCSB:  The house right behind ours has been vacant for almost a year now.  A tree fell on it about 6 months ago and it took whomever owns it about 2 months to cut it off of it.  They just left the cut limbs on the ground where they fell.  What's funny is that right before the couple who bought it last got it, the previous owner had completely renovated it.  New windows, AC unit, driveway, floors, roof... The works.  They got divorced and he moved out and then a couple months later she moved and it has been vacant ever since.  It's a nice place in a nice neighborhood and it is a shame to watch it waste away.  And yes, I live in Florida.

Some place next door went vacant, the former owner I guess stripped the inside (we explored some) and walls was ripped off, copper pipes cut out, kitchen trashed, shiat all broke to hell and back, etc.

Literally wasn't touched by bank or anything for close to 10 months, must of been hell inside there after that long, the pool itself was brown/black water, filled with tadpoles, frogs, etc. looked like a pond in the most literal sense.

They finally decided to fix it up and try to sell it, it was on the market a week before the for sale sign was taken down. I don't know if it sold or people inspecting it said this will never sell with a hole in the roof, etc.

The roof was just patched/fixed in the area with the hole, don't know about the insides, etc. All we see is a van and truck every other day working on the place I guess.
