The subsequent tsunami sure packed a punch...

Actually, I feel this photo needs a better caption.

"You see kids, when your whore mother and my former best friend love each other *very much*..."

I'm more thinking:
"I think I've found the problem with your car."

Heh.  Rightwing troll accounts hate it when you bring up stupid things that their heroes do and say.

jso2897: StrikitRich: T-Servo: And Sarah Palin was born 50 years ago last month. This can't be a coincidence.

Sarah is from Idaho, so your point is?

I hear a lot of potatoes come from there.

Yep, and I understand she can now count to them without using any fingers.

56, so must have been in either 1st or 2nd grade at that time. We felt it clear down in Washington. I lost one of my cousins in Kodiak in the tsunami.

Alaska isn't the United States. It's the ass-end of Canada with a United States label.

and Lo... in 1964 an angel broke the 4th seal and I heard a voice proclaim "behold, the harbinger of doom, Sarah Palin does come."

I am sure I read that in revelations somewhere...

And lo, the harbinger of doom did sayeth "I can see Gehenna from my house!" in a particularly irritating perky manner.

On the news this morning they said, "scientists say there is a 99% chance that a monster quake will hit CA in the next 30 years."

Could they be just a little more vague?

I live at one end of the New Madrid fault line.
Every now and then it feels like a cow is rubbing itself against the house, they tell me that is a mini-quake.
I guess a maxi-quake would feel like an elephant rubbing itself against my house.
That or like I was living in the Love Shack.

I used to work with a lady who was born during that earthquake.  Her mother was in the stirrups pushing and suddenly the whole building shook (and you have to understand the earth shook with such ferocity, that the tops of spruce trees were hitting the ground) and all the doctors and nurses evacuated and left her mother in the delivery room all by herself.  She was terrified.  When it was done they came back and completed the delivery, but still, what a dick thing to do.

So now I know she's 50 years old.
