Toronto loved this guy for a lot of reasons.

By all accounts I've heard, a class act.

/He used to ride the subway to work in T.O. ... The Red Rocket as our public transit system is affectionately nicknamed.

It's a sad state of our society when I read this article and have to wonder if the guy's a creep for having a sleepover and pajama party with a bunch of kids, rather than the charitable cause it really is

It''s called the 'Thriller Effect' and, yes, Michael Jackson was the first thing I thought of, too.

It doesn't help that his last name is Boner.

If I was a gangly redheaded 7-footer who does nothing but shoot 3-pointers, I like to think I'd give back to the community.

I assume, then, that were you to then dye your hair, the community could go f%$k itself?

Although I am not a famous athlete, please be advised that I, also, am available to make charitable donations that someone else pays for.

I am guessing this is one quality that Popovich looks for in a player as it appears to be very common among Spurs players.  David Robinson, Tim Duncan, Avery Johnson, Sean Elliot....just a few Spurs I can name off the top of my head that were good guys and generous with their time.

What kind of dick gives pajamas to a kid that doesn't own a bed? Is he going to wear his pajamas in his cardboard box? That's pretty insensitive Mr. Boner.

/cuz there's always that guy who questions someone else's charity
//while contributing nothing themselves
///good job red headed guy

Giving them a bed was nice. Giving subby some lessons in grammar, sentence structure and punctuation also would have been nice.

He wouldn't have had to if Shawn Kemp would just pay his child support.
