The Waseca Police Department says it got a call Monday from staff at the Hartley Elementary School, where two "very small" explosive devices were found on the school's south playground. On Friday, staff discovered an additional explosive device on the same playground, and this one was inside a stuffed animal.
All of the devices required being exposed to an open flame in order to detonate, police said, running around and giggling while gathering additional things to try exploding.  "Whoo hoo!" stated Police Lieutenant Ron Jeffries, as the stuffed animal's head blew off, landing on top of a nearby parked car.  Other officers were seen gathering army men and a plastic My Little Pony lunch box.
