I've done a pretty good job of not sexualizing Tina Fey until this.  I'll be in my bunk

Right, because no one in the history of the internet, except for DrBenway, has ever accidentally hit the Enter button on their computer or cell phone. Pretentious idiot.

Pressing the enter key (either on a physical or mobile on-screen keyboard) or doesn't automatically post, you have to press the "Add Comment" button. So he entered text into the field, read his comment and thought "yeah, that looks good"  and hit the "add comment" button intentionally.

Honestly? I can't even see where the scar is and I'm actively looking for it. If nobody had told me one was there, I wouldn't even know it existed.

If she shows up in a role in the next year where you wonder why the hell she's doing this movie, now you will know.

$79,000? She must pay her employees a hell of a lot. Workers comp is usually a fraction of a percent of pay.

At least he was ironic enough to name his alt "TerminalEchoes". So he's got that going for him.

Hey, did you guys hear the one about Tina Fey? She's so liberal she wonders why the government doesn't pay her worker's comp.

That's probably just fines. The New York State Workers Comp Board is brutal with fines.

The rate depends on the kind of business and employees she's got.  Clerical staff is going to be much cheaper than TV production (non-performer) staff.  But like 98K says, it sounds like fines for non-compliance, which are different from premiums - it's probably figured on what she would've paid (if she wasn't covered, which she says she was) plus a substantial penalty

"The confusion seems to be a result of a clerical error with the NYS WC Board," she said.
"They have been sending notifications to an old address for an accountant that moved offices almost six years ago."

The clerical error is on Fey's part most likely for not notifying them of the address change.  You are after all supposed to notify folks when you move after all.

It's not Fey's responsibility to directly notify the NYS WC board. It's her responsibility to notify her insurance agent, who then has to notify the insurance company that writes her work comp policy, who is responsible for notifying the NYS WC Board. Or maybe the agent did notify the insurance company, who then didn't notify the NYS WC board. This ball could have been dropped all kinds of places. After all.

She didn't move.  Her accountant did.

They're pretty sure that they're paid up, so it sounds likely that the state has two accounts open for her in their system..
