Since we're on the subject, *MY* colonoscopy last Thursday was epic. No polyps, and they recommend another in ten years. And I have the color pictures to prove it. Showed them around the office. I rock.

Ok, so i didnt know what C. Diff was so i looked on wikipedia and got this nugget of knowledge...

"C. difficile infections are the most common cause of pseudomembranous colitis, and in rare cases this can progress to toxic megacolon, which can be life-threatening."

holy crap thats sounds awful or sounds like a great band name.

I showed everybody when I got pictures of my brain from an MRI. My boyfriend at the time loved them.

And the aforementioned C. Diff smell. Which is horrific.

And there's fetor hepaticus, which is a sign caused by liver failure. Their breath literally smells like death because of the buildup of ammonia.

my daughter got c diff when she was in the NICU. gawd offal.


i dropped a huge load a lunch today. huge but no tp needed. all day since...humongous farts. long loud farts. loads of them. figure what i had in me was plugging me up.

reminded me of ron white- ever take a crap so big your pants fit better after? that was me today. was traveling for a month. even working out..still got some to push out.

Came here to say this.  Wound infections also have distinct odors depending on the type of bacteria. Science!

And the sweet, sweet smell of of a diabetic's breath (ketoacidosis). Your nose always knows.
