kroonermanblack: What are the 'bad news bears'? Wasn't it a crappy movie with that guy who banged Angelina Jolie back when she was kinda hot?

It was a great movie from the 1970's starring Walter Matthau, Tatum O'Neal, and some kids saying naughty words.  The coach of the enemy team was Vic Morrow, who was eventually decapitated by a helicopter.   At the time the 70's seemed like a lost decade, but it turned out to be the last real decade before marketing took over every aspect of life.

gja: FTFA:" And given the long, ongoing battle between Christianity and homosexuality, what leads a pastor to choose to commit to a 545-mile bike ride to raise money for the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center?"

Answer: That would be MORALS. And, you know, taking the most important tenets of Christianity to heart.

TFA, and many Farkers, conveniently ignore that many Christians are not foam-at-the-mouth homophobic bigots.

While my post above did call out that this was a repeat, I am not trying to belittle.

I am, and have sponsored for the past three years, a life cycle team.  So, good on ya, and hey, donate people, it's a good cause.
