He also reportedly said that his wife would not lie and that whatever she said was true.

He seems so reasonable when he's not blackout drunk.

My thoughts exactly. Didn't think I'd kinda pity him reading the story. But obviously, if true, he needs to get booked.

What kind of supposed civilized country do we have where a man can just go out and do this to his wife and kids. It's just further proof that the government needs to get involved, despite what all those tea party nut jobs say about the Constitution. If you have something that's so dangerous it's killing thousands of innocent people every year, the only solution is to get rid of it. Won't you join me in demanding Congress exercise its authority under the 18th amendment and put an end to this madness?

The government came to their senses and drunkenly wrote the 21st. Alcohol isn't the problem, idiocy is.

When I am blackout drunk, the only weapons I have are books. And they never seem to work at that point.

Seriously, this guy should not own guns. Not sure what that is going to do to his identity as a man, though. And that six year old boy's grades are going to take a dive.

I blame the education system. Critical thinking skills have been lost.

Intolerance for other people's views doesn't necessarily come from the edcucational system (including higher education), but ITG syndrome runs rampant.

And I can't believe a six year old could load a Glock. Those springs are tough.

Sure it does. You read examples of it here every day. Different hair? suspended. Shirt with a thought provoking statement? Suspended. Publicly hold a view that the school does not approve of? Oh, bet your ass suspended, maybe even expelled if they are feeling ornery that day.
We were just reading here yesterday about the "Closet Muslim Girl" and how in class her teacher said that Muslims were evil and murder innocent people. They only appear to not be intolerant because they champion a favored class or type from time to time, but everyone else outside of those bounds are out of luck. You hear it in the articles over and over from some administrator or another " We must maintain order.", and they do it by punishing anything outside of the bounds of what they deem proper at that time.

It is the best example of intolerance can think of.

Schools most certainly push intolerance, and their sin is they do it to the most impressionable. Cursing us to keep doing the same idiotic things over and over, just to a different tune each time.

If they're non-violent felons who have paid their debt to society and can prove that they have not committed another crime? Sure, why not? Also, you *do* realize that most states have a process by which those convicted of felonies may petition the court to have their records expunged and their rights, including the right to own firearms, restored, yes?

He reportedly then pulled out and loaded a .380 Ruger pistol..... Salois had reportedly misplaced the pistol but had retrieved and loaded a Glock .45,.....  Salois then grabbed and loaded a Benelli shotgun,

Ultimately, Salois passed out from drinking too much Johhny Walker Red Label whiskey on his son's bed, a Serta Revival Plush twin. He never did find his missing Samsung Galaxy S4, but they did replace it with an HTC One M8 series, which they purchased from Sprint. Police confiscated his fire arms, plus a box of Winchester Super Clean NT .380, 3 boxes of Seer Gold Dot .45, and two boxes of Fiocchi Exacta 00 buck. Salois reports he plans on using Quick Defense Bail Bonds Service to pay for his bail, and plans on using Yellow Cab taxi service to get to his house, which was built by Rock River Homes.

This case, in general, is the opposite of "non-violent".  Non-violent felonies include things like, say, embezzlement, insurance fraud, failing to donate enough free speech to the right politicians...
