I just want every movie he's in to be required to explain why he has an Austrian accent. In that shiat sandwich of a movie, The Last Stand, where he inexplicably was the sheriff of a small desert border town, I think they at least made a passing reference during the final showdown to him being an immigrant - although they may have discussed it earlier - I ffwd through a lot of that one.

Doing these dumb action flicks, his age is becoming a serious factor for me. And yet, I don't know what other kinds of movies he should be making. Dude's got A LOT of movies lined up. He has 6 films listed as either coming out now, in production, or announced. I just wish the films were a little smarter. Although Sabotage at least has the credibility of having Ayer behind it as writer/director.

I have seen the preview and it looks the same as 100's of other movies in this genre.

It does look to be a slight step up from the Last Stand or that prison movie with Stallone.... i couldnt' make it through either of them.

Might only be for movies, but Keifer's Jack Bauer's kill count would put him 3rd alone.

Anyone can make an intense action movie where the hero slaughters thousands, but making a really intense action movie where a very small number of people die is inherently more impressive.

This movie may be crass and full of losers, but it looks to have far more style that most action movies.

Also that's probably the first time I've seen an R-rated trailer for a feature film.

Die Hard had 24. And Aliens only had 13 if you only count the humans (45 aliens and 9 facehuggers) Trying to think of an action movie with a smaller body count.

The Jason Bourne movies. "Bourne Identity" had 6, "Bourne Supremacy" had 8* (*2 happening long before the events of the movie), and "Bourne Ultimatum" had 4. I've only seen "Identity" and "Supremacy" lately, so I might be mistaken.

Needs a number for times Rambo is seen reloading a gun. Arrows don't count.

Also, Commando with Arnold had a ludicrous body count. IMDB says 81 killed by Matrix in the trivia.

Arnold kills about 50 people just in The Last Stand alone.

Maybe more.

/Sly Stallone kills probably a good 100 in the most recent rambo alone.
//Add in the 3 expendables movies... and, well, he's killed a lot.

Movie Body Count says 20. The Die Hard wiki says 24

The discrepancy seems to rest on how many people were in the helicopter with the FBI guys, how many SWAT members were killed trying to enter the building and whether the occupants of the APC were killed.

An action movie with a low body count gets reclassified as a "thriller" or a "technodrama" or somesuch. I don't recall "Ultimatum" being tagged as a pure action flick--I think it was a "thriller".

1 and 2?  Though Faora-Ul slaughtered a lot of soldiers, it's hard to tell dead from wounded most of the time.. but she does a couple of audible neck snaps.

FIFY

Most of the movie was them trying to uncover the identities of MPAA members. And for what in the end?

You want NC-17 movies to be accepted then it's theater distributers that need to change. They're the ones that won't accept adult (non-XXX) films.
