Actually...no.  He got his money's worth.  In that other case you're referring to, dude paid for her services and she was going to leave without "delivering".

He robbed her money?  Did the money comply and give up its valuables?

Yeah, but he also got $300 from her.  That's like the Holy Grail.  Most I've gotten is maybe $27.

who among us has not had unsatisfying sex with a prostitute and wanted our money back?

2014-03-27 11:54:28 AM
The man had sex with the woman and paid her $80 and left but returned a short time later and knocked on the door to the room.
"He told her he had forgotten his cell phone," Anderson said. "She refused to open the door all the way and kept the chain lock on."
...
The man retrieved his phone but also stole the woman's phone and all the money she had with her, including the money he had just paid for sex, police said.

...
Police don't believe the gunman targeted the woman online to set her up for a robbery.

It's pretty clear that she tried to steal his phone, and if she'd just given it back immediately he wouldn't have robbed her.

Explain to me again how keeping prostitution illegal makes women safer.

Or paid first, then to learn she doesn't do head; or other fun stuff. But Boris and Fat Nick don't allow refunds... Not to me, I mean, ya I just heard that once...

I'm curious he paid her then robbed her of 300 dollars. Does that figure include the money he paid her? The money was his, then hers, then apparently his again. Is there a time limit where money he gives her is still technically his and he forcefully refunded with interest?

If he is caught and they can back trace where he spent his/her money is that money now the property of the vendor in question or can it be taken from them and given back to the prostitute who obtained it through illegal means in the first place, then taken by illegal means again.

Actually if you take it from the vendor don't you first have to give it back to the robber, then take it from him again then give it to the women, then take it back again and give it to the state?

The economics of robbery and prostitution is fascinating, probably a college course somewhere on it.

Everyone knows it's easier if you just run her over after she gets out of the car

Joanna: Oh, okay. So you're gonna be taking a lot of money, right?
Peter Gibbons: Yeah.
Joanna:Right. It's not yours?
Peter Gibbons: Uh, well it becomes ours.

Agreed. "What phone? You must have left somewhere else."
