Not to be too insensitive about the whole thing, but me and my buddy Ed like to act out a skit sometimes where we pretend that we're the red-headed whistle-blower guy going to the authorities to report what we "overheard" while walking by the showers on the way to the equipment room. It's even funnier because Ed is from Sarf London and does it in his best 'Murcan accent.

What is best part of banging twenty nine-year-olds for Jerry Sandusky?

That there are twenty-nine of them.

(and hearing the pelvic bones snap)

Truly a creepy guy.  When asked about it, Sandusky was of the honest opinion he did nothing wrong.  This leads me to believe that others knew and covered it up - Sandusky would have no reason to with his thought process.

Sucks to his widow and it sucks to be Sandusky's wife. The memories of those men are forever tarnished and there is no sympathy here.

If you can't be a positive example at least be a cautionary tale.

Keeping evil acts secret is nearly as bad as doing them.

He reported it to one of the most powerful men in Pennsylvania, who duly reported it to someone who had a position in law enforcement.

That's why we know it was planned coverup: Paterno and the University followed the exact letter of the law.

See the part above that I highlighted? You think maybe someone who could be described in such a manner would be able to make a phone call two or three days later?

"Hey, Chief of Police. You should have been advised that Jerry was diddling kids. Are you, y'know, looking into that? Is there anything I can do to help your investigation?

After all, I'm one of the most powerful men in Pennsylvania- and DEFINITELY here in State College- and I'm not going to stand for having Chester the Molester running around my locker room. I've made a career preaching doing the Right Thing, and I'm not going to act like making one call to the police is where my responsibility as a coach, role model, and decent human being ends. Kids, fer Christ's sake."

He was a scumbag, and should rot in Hell.  All the good he did while alive was wiped out by the evil he did.

You'll just have to come to grips with that, buttercup.

Yes.  As revered as Paterno was before the Sandusky scandal, so should he now not be honored because we know that he knew.  I have known more than a few Big 10 football players and every one, even those who played against Penn State, thought highly of Joe Pa.  In Pennsylvania he was god-like.  From whom much has been given shall much be expected.  He failed.

yeah, Maybe they should just try to STFU about anything at all. Hope it will blow over that they had a bunch of coaches covering up the brutal rape of innocent young boys in the locker rooms, and showers of their "University"

They can also stop sending me requests for donations any farking day now.
Apparently, they need money. Lots and lots of money.

I suggest they sell tickets to their pedo program. I mean, foot ball stadium.

Farking sick farking pedo assholes.
Being a sick pedo is one thing.
Covering up for it is worse.
Defending them for covering it up requires an uppercut.

Uh... yeah... this.

I'm from Central PA, the rush to go out and defend Joe's honor was just ridiculous the night he got fired.  I mean honestly wtf are you people doing?  Are you actually rioting to support the guy who knowing or unknowingly had kids being farked on his watch?  Really?  That's who you are?  That's who you want to tell the rest of America we are?

Accountability is a really good word.  This is the sort of evil where it WILL be applied to you if it happens on premises and in facilities and inside of a program that you are ultimately responsible for.  The end!  I don't care if he built a library.  I don't care about his wins (and frankly he only has those because he was older than the farking dirt they shoveled onto him, he was about as useful as a corpse and probably suffering from Dementia for like his last 6 season).  Those things are not important.  Children were being touched in his program.  That's MORE than enough to get your shiat canned.

Not sure if serious about Pee-Wee. The only victim in his crime was his career.

Oh nevermind, you're not serious. Carry on!

Kinda serious.  The authorities, media and public had a feeding frenzy about Penn State.  Yet Hollywood gets a free ride on the Pedo Bear train.

Pee-Wee was just the first thing that popped in my head.  yeah I am not so good with the words.  Hence the mostly not posting thing I've been going with.

I have a screenshot of the end of "Plague, Inc." when I named my virus "Paterno" and killed ~6 billion people, but left a few thousand alive when the cure arrived.

"Paterno has brought all of humanity to the brink of extinction... Humans will slowly rebuild, but it will take time".

Well, THAT will show him.

Attention denizens of State College, PA and defenders of Joe Pa:

We, your fellow Americans, look upon you as that inappropriate, drunken uncle who ruins Thanksgiving and always smells bad.  We are ashamed you are in our family, and really wish you would load up your rusted '78 Caprice and just go away.  We don't want to know where you're going, as long as you're going away and staying away.

You embarrass us, You embarrass us because you can't see that you ruin Thanksgiving, that you smell bad, and that your Caprice leaves oil marks on our driveways.  And you don't seem to care.

We've tried endlessly to point out that you should shower once in a while, stop drinking so much, and maybe contribute something to Thanksgiving dinner instead of just eating everything, but you you just stupidly blink and ask "do you have anymore beer?"

So please, Penn State and Joe Pa cultists, little boys were raped at your "university" and you knew it and you covered it up so  you could still watch football.  So please, just go away.

Thank you,

America

I used to really like Paterno. He headed an athletic program but instead of giving money for a new stadium, he built a library. He cared about academics and sports. He pushed his athletes to give the so-called 110 percent on and off the field and enforced some strict discipline. I remember being at a game in happy valley and someone telling me that there was some sort of a fight involving some of his players (the kind of thing that usually gets covered up by athletic programs elsewhere) and he punished them by making them join the clean up crew at the stadium for home games. Imagine winning a big home game and you can't run off to party in campus because you have clean up duty. But  the one time in Joe Pa's own existence when he was put into a position where he absolutely should have given more than 100 percent, he did the bare minimum to safeguard those kids.

2014-03-26 05:11:35 PM
No they should really honor Joe, maybe with a big bronze statue of him standing behind Sandusky who is sitting down with a child on his lap and a plaque that reads "Children come first."
