He's undeniably built a career on becoming more like himself in every role, although he can disappear at will. He was quite restrained in Monuments Men, for instance, in which his entire role seemed to consist of annoying Bob Balaban.

Doesn't you internet browser tell you where a link goes to before you click it? I thought it was a basic safety feature all of them have had for years.

This is correct, although Chase came back  to host the show after he left the cast and I think that's where the animosity came from. As absolutely no surprise to anyone, Chase didn't get along with the remaining cast members and didn't necessarily treat his "replacement" very well.

I read that, during a verbal fight, Murray called Chase an "average talent".

This sounds far more devastating than calling him a hack.

I like Bill Murray, and I really love Life Aquatic, but I would never agree to work with someone who may or may not show up. Fark that. There are a lot of people working on a movie who's income and future careers are depending on a good outcome.

Sounds like much ado about nothing though, is there an actual instance where he hasn't shown up?  Do you really know if anyone will show up before they actually do?  So just because this one guy is aloof we generate myths around him. Silly.

He's spent the last 7-8 years in a concerted effort to use the internet as a medium and create this patently false image of himself as a kindly oldgoofball with a heart full of love and whimsy, who has somehow simultaneously uplifted all those around him while acheiving a A-list career in one of the most corrupt, foul and souless industries on the planet?

Truly, it's been a masterful effort and the man clearly understands how the online zeitgeist works, but for christs sake! Bill Murray is a LEGENDARY asshole and always has been. He: beat his wife; notorious drunk and cokehead; started fights; attacked people on sets; accused of sexual assualt; held an active grudge for 30 years against Harold Ramis, an actual nice person; blackballed and shiatcanned more people than it ispossible to list for any picayune thing; practically the only thing he hasn't done is rape a dog in public and thanks to you chuckleheads he could probably get away that today.

he's an ACTOR, you dumbheads. He's ACTING. He's not farkin' Peter Venkman in real life, he's an old, rich man that got where he is today by stepping on anyone he had to and some people he didn't.

Pull the other leg, it's got bells on it. Jesus.

No, thats fine, I mean slightly unsafe in some places, but it seems unlikely Fark is going to link to anywhere particularly bad just to click through to, so hardly a big deal. It just seems odd to go to the trouble of asking a question about what an article is about that you couldn't click through to and not have looked at the link description first.

Maybe it is just it is a feature of browsers I use so frequently I am just assuming every knows about it/uses it as a normal thing to check or use - particularly here, for example to avoid clicking through and giving revenue to sites I don't want to support financially with ad impressions, but in most cases you can at least tell roughly what a article contains given the combination of the known biases of the site in question plus the details of the hyperlink.

Speaking of Patrick Stewart, on Ink Masters someone got a tattoo of Professor X from the movies (not the comic book professor).

Since it was just the head (no wheel chair or anything) how many people will see it and think it's a tattoo of Picard?

CSB about Bill.

When I was at school down in Charleston SC, he was the Grand Marshall of the Cooper River Bridge Run back in 97.  He asked for a squad of cadets to be his body guard while he ran the race and I got to do it.  The man did a photo shoot prior to the race wherein he had a Groundhog day style breakfast intermediately prior to the run.  He vomited profusely about 2 miles in, but he finished the race anyway.  I had to support him a little bit, but he managed to do the whole thing on his own.  Much respect.  His vomit smelled like a distillery.

Yes.  Chevy Chase.

Given reports of his behavior I question that too.

Funny how even though Murray is known to be a pretty moody guy and maybe not the most professional of people he doesn't have a twatwaffle reputation, or at least as massive a reputation for vaginal pastry making.
