Zeb Hesselgresser: Mom was a teenager. The pregnancy was the result of a rapey relative. She hid the incident and the pregnancy from her parents. Mom knew the baby would be found and cared for quickly. Now we have the hospital no questions asked drop off law.Kids make bad decisions. Film at 11.
cherryl taggart: WordyGrrl: Here's a much better article than the linked one: http://articles.mcall.com/2014-03-25/news/mc-allentown-burger-king-ba b y-finds-mom-20140325_1_mother-and-daughter-finds-mom-south-whitehall-t ownshipThanks for that link. These are the results that keep most adoptees hoping to find their birth parents, but for most of them, the birth parents are dead or better off never found. Especially if the adoptee has been fantasizing about parents that would swoop in and rescue them from whatever home they ended up in. Growing up, thinking the first people that knew you didn't want you, is hard enough, but finding out the birth parents are in much, much worse circumstances can be devastating.
Bedstead Polisher: My aunt had a baby when she was still in University and not married and was forced to give up the baby (family pressure--what will people THINK?!)I didn't even know about my cousin's existence until she was in her 20's and wanted to meet my aunt (and the rest of the family).I think that everything was pretty good at the beginning, until my cousin discovered that my aunt is kind of messed up, lied about who the father was (for 30 years, everyone thought it was one dude, turns out baby was a result of an affair), and was generally self-centered. At least my cousin got to know her other siblings.I know someone else who was a teen mom, gave up the baby and now has a wonderful relationship with the girl she gave up way back when she just wasn't ready to be a parent.Let's hope Burger King mom situation is more like the latter.
Warlordtrooper: Frozboz: Not mother. Birthmother. Big difference. No a mother by definition is the woman who gives birth to the child

abhorrent1: So when do they arrest the birth mother?
Calvin Butterball: I once got busy in a Burger King bathroom./IGN
