Lenny_da_Hog: A "chef" that works at McDonald's.
zamboni: Spalding! You'll get nothing and like it!

Lenny_da_Hog: A "chef" that works at McDonald's.I'm still waiting for my NEA grant for being a Subway Sandwich Artist.
redsquid: supposed to be an upscale McDonalds
Bathia_Mapes: Lenny_da_Hog: A "chef" that works at McDonald's.My thoughts, exactly. Burger flipper, yes. Chef, no freakin' way.
GreatGlavinsGhost: WTF is an angry whopper?
AverageAmericanGuy: I find it amusing that so many here hate the poor so much that you won't even let him have a title like 'chef'.
AverageAmericanGuy: I find it amusing that so many here hate the poor so much that you won't even let him have a title like 'chef'.So much for that "Do you hate your job" thread below.
Captain James T. Smirk: AverageAmericanGuy: I find it amusing that so many here hate the poor so much that you won't even let him have a title like 'chef'.So much for that "Do you hate your job" thread below. This isn't about hating the poor, it's about the respect for the title of "chef". You wouldn't call an unarmed mall security guard a "police officer" just because he wears a (square) badge, so you don't call a guy who wraps burgers in wax paper and then pops them in a microwave a "chef" because it is insulting to real chefs and not even close to being a reality. If this guy is a chef, then the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese I made for dinner last night makes me Alton friggin' Brown, because I put a hell of a lot more effort into making it than anyone who makes food at a BK.
AverageAmericanGuy: I get it. Your "word" is so much more important than letting this poor guy have one minor indulgence in the newspaper.
redsquid: Lenny_da_Hog: A "chef" that works at McDonald's.I'm still waiting for my NEA grant for being a Subway Sandwich Artist. With the re-emergence of celebrity chefs, tons of people went out and got culinary degrees. This saturated the market and brought wages way down. I wouldn't be surprised at all if some sucker with a degree from a strip mall school was employed by McDonalds. Also there's McCafe which is supposed to be an upscale McDonalds meets Starbucks. There's one in Orlando but I've never eaten there.
C18H27NO3: GreatGlavinsGhost: WTF is an angry whopper?I think its the spicy one, only it's not, so more like a regular burger.

uttertosh: In a bid to be crowned 'Burger King', one man challenged himself to eat every sandwich from the fast food joint in one sitting. What a tragic sad, lonley, pathetic little man. Probably with some issues that will never be resolved whilst earning a 'McWage'
HairyNevus: Came to complain about the guy being referred to as a "chef". Leaving feeling slow and feeble...
