Now I can't help but picture Michael Bay's Aaron Burr.

History just got explosive.

2014-03-25 03:26:04 PM
Finally, something made by Michael Bay that I can watch twice!

/Seriously, I loved that commercial.

Isn't this fairly common knowledge?

I don't know who makes the commercials with guys getting hit in the face with white liquid, but that shiat cracks me the fark up.

Who wrote it?
I don't care who directed it.

Am I the only one that read that as, "Remember that Got Milk? commercial with the dude with peanut butter in his mouth? That was Michael Bay's dong"  ?

Yes? Ok. I'll just leave.

Look into the pre-fame resume of any director and you'll pretty much find stuff like this.

2014-03-25 04:11:07 PM
No.

special20: Who wrote it?

JJ Abrams.

2014-03-25 04:17:05 PM
Oh, so that's why the milk exploded at the end!

2014-03-25 04:17:24 PM
I'm calling BS.  The peanut butter didn't explode and there were no helicopters.

2014-03-25 04:17:49 PM
It was so unbelievable. The same guy had peanut butter in his mouth at Pearl Harbor AND over Tokyo with Doolittle?

You should check out this questionable product marketed at children.  They called it the ozzinator,. I wonder if they made it to troll the guy in the van?

2014-03-25 04:24:14 PM
So who directed the "I blew a seal" commercial? Joel Schumacher?

That's actually much funnier.

And his scripts haven't improved since.

Yes, but only among a certain, small, specialized group of people.

They are known as AV dorks.

2014-03-25 04:41:28 PM
So, wait, they had to put peanut butter on Michael Bay's dong just so the dude would put it in his mouth? T

2014-03-25 04:44:39 PM
And the actor went on to appear in "Twister."  Maybe he just enjoys working with directors of bad special effects films.

2014-03-25 04:44:48 PM
I often fantasize about watching people stacking tires around Michael Bay's body and setting them on fire.

2014-03-25 04:51:26 PM
I thought that actor was the Wig Master from Seinfeld, played by Patrick Bristow.  Yes?  No?

Yup Sean's one of many "Hey-- That guy"s, and he's been in nearly every movie / TV show ever.

2014-03-25 05:12:07 PM
He also directed some Meatloaf Videos

I certainly thought it was, Bay even won a Clio award for it. But then again, I don't watch Michael Bay movies while uncontrollably sobbing and hate-f**king my couch cushions like most Farkers.

2014-03-25 05:30:24 PM
Why did I read that headline without the second vowel in the last word? I enjoyed it more that way, frankly.

special20: Who wrote it?

Nonsense. The direction of that sequence was at least as important as the writing.

Bay makes dreck, but he deserves credit for this one.

I never would've guessed that commercial predated any of his movies.  It's so vividly in my memory, I had no idea it came out in 93...

NO! I had absolutely no idea that there was any justification for Michael Bay's existence.

Film dorks, too. Bay was part of Propaganda films when he made the Got Milk ad. That was a pretty big talent pool of filmmaking in the early-mid 90s. David Fincher, Spike Jonze, Alex Proyas, and Antoine Fuqua were also part of it, and David Lynch was an alum.

I don't get how he was surrounded by all those talented people, but can't spot a good script with 2 hands and a flashlight.

/The Rock was a fluke. Bruckheimer handed that script to him.

This.  Especially if we're talking about natural peanut butter.  That stuff sticks to the inside of your mouth like glue sometimes.  It's not something you can easily spit out.

2014-03-25 10:31:33 PM
On one hand, Michael Bay sucks.

On the other hand, The Rock is the best movie of all time.

2014-03-25 10:35:48 PM
Bay also directed a bunch of music videos.

So, did anyone actually wonder why in the hell a guy with collectibles worth hundreds of thousands, if not millions, is eating a ghetto PB at a shiatty kitchen table in what looks like the friggin' Alexander Hamilton Shrine for the Pedantic?

I thought so. I'm pretty I got it right when it was a question on Jeopardy about five years ago.

PB&J sandwiches are quick and easy to make, and they taste pretty good.  Maybe he just felt like a quick snack.  Just because he's rich doesn't mean he has to eat escargot or king crab legs for every meal.

Much appreciated.  I had to look up pictures of both to see how crummy my perception was.  Can you tell which is which?
