On the bright side laddies, an inability to find that man attractive is highly indicative of straight-man or gay-woman. Not 100%, but close enough for private enterprise.

I hope they scotchguard all the upholstery in that theater. I know both my wife and my daughter do a lot of sighing and shifting around in their seats when we watch Sherlock.

I love love love him in Sherlock.
But I am not a fangirl.  I think he is reasonably handsome as a leading man should be.
He does have a sexy voice though.  The kind of voice that you would to call you late at night and talk dirty to you until you fall asleep or other things.

I don't give a crap about the guy and haven't seen him in anything except a Dr. Who mashup video, but I enjoyed the headline.

Hamlet is a weird play. At the beginning of the play, Hamlet is around 21 and dawdling after his father's death, waiting to go back to college. After a couple of months he's suddenly 30. (Scholars think the play is a heavily re-written version of an early play of WS's that flopped and WS either lost track of the age issue or didn't care.)  Cumberbatch isn't old for the role as it's usually cast. He's just old for the role as it's actually written. I understand that Keanu Reeves actually did a creditable job in the role.

I just wasn't feeling Tennant in the role.  Patrick Stewart was great, as always, though.

Understood.  Stewart's Macbeth on Netflix is awesome.  Kate Fleetwood, as Lady Macbeth, is brilliant.

I watched Laurence "Larry" Olivier's version on TCM recently, he simply *was* Hamlet, despite being 41 when it was made.
