I never did see him get tazed, but I was rooting for it to happen. I have no idea if he had drugs in his car; I just think he's an epic douche. Seems like it would take more years to reach critical douche mass. That guy seems too young for it.

Rambino: atomic-age: flondrix: CheetahOlivetti: Oh, wow:
Because of years and years of looking at and touching scores of women inappropriately, the male gynecologist no doubt has a seared conscience and a perverted mind (I will not go into detail of what goes on in the doctor's office for decency's sake, but any woman who has been there knows what I am referring to.).  His view of women and the marital bed has certainly been warped by his indecent involvement with countless women.

He doesn't out-and-out say whether he approves of women becoming gynecologists, either.  Since that would involve them attending universities and working outside of the home, I'm going to guess "no".

Frankly, women's nether parts should never be shown in the light of day, to male or female. If a woman gets cervical cancer, it's just God's will.

Obviously.  If you are good and chaste, God blesses you with a rape-baby.  If you are a whore, you get cancer of the hoo-hah.

Was that too complicated for your little lady-brain?

Everything is.

The bible says one time that "homosexuality is an abomination"

The bible says one time that women are to be "commanded under obedience"

Where are the Republican congressmen speaking out against this crumbling of traditional Christian family values?

*shrug* I didn't see the video. My comment was based on the tender piano music that accompanies another video I have never seen.

According to that link he's an "American civil rights crusader," so maybe it's not such a reliable source.

Tss, nice inflammatory interpretation, scotty. I'm sure he didn't actually say that.

*click*

Author's Note: I have never called for people to rise up and kill homosexuals. I believe that the GOVERNMENT should put them to death as the Bible lays out in Leviticus 20:13. We as Christians should NOT accept homosexuals. Am I going to harm homosexuals? NO. Should they be put to death by the legitimate authorities (i.e. our government). YES

Holy shiat, he did say exactly that. WTF.

Actually this was one of the first cracks in my losing my faith.

I wondered how women could talk in church or be pastors in any Christian denomination and was given lots of dodges and explanations but they were bullshiat justification. The holy book says that they can't. I asked "So we don't have to follow everything the Bible says?" They will do mental gymnastics for hours to explain how some things are to be followed but ignoring some is OK but it is pretty weak justification.

Well, he is quoting directly out of the Bible, and there doesn't seem to be any controversy that the Bible actually says all that. Shouldn't the burden be on the other Christians to justify why they don't follow that part of the Bible?

Although he is a despicable person, this guy gets a grudging respect from me.  He's an asshole.  He's archaic, misogynistic, self-righteous, and is not afraid to say exactly the crap that infects his sorry little rattletrap of a brain.  But he is HONEST.  He doesn't try to hide his true nature in a series of carefully worded statements like other "Christians" of his ilk.  He believes his shiat and challenges his audience to accept or reject it.

Something to be said for being honest.

This is what the Bible says. If the Bible is the word of God, these are his words.

I may think he's a total douche-nugget when it comes to religion and women's rights, but I have to agree with his stance when it comes to a border patrol checkpoint over a hundred miles from an actual border and using a drug sniffing dog to "tag" him.  Drug dogs do exactly what their handlers want them to do.  So of course they got a hit when he refused to let search his vehicle.

For the same reason most Christians eat meat with dairy and wear mixed fibers.  All Christians pick and choose which parts of the Bible to follow.  Sadly, a lot of Christians are too ignorant of the Bible to even know which parts they're ignoring.  The more well-read (in terms of reading the Bible and books about it) and less hypocritical ones at least admit it.

There's also a general belief among many Christians that they are permitted to disregard the Old Testament and only concern themselves about the New Testament.  Since the verse in question is from 1 Timothy (which is in the New Testament), however, it's not so simple as saying "We can ignore it because it's in the Old Testament."

the biblical quote in question had to do with Men and Women seated separately. then the wives talking across the aisle ask their husbands what does this mean every time the priest said something. so in this one limited instance the women were told to hold their questions for later.

He's right, it says so very plainly in the bible.  According to the bible, women should know their place and be silent and submissive to men.

Also, this is one of about a thousand reasons why Christianity is dumb.
