Anderson's Pooper: Thank God they didn't kill one more.
jfivealive: I can't even read that. And no, im not alliterate.
kd8our: Before we judge. Anyone what sounds do those damn things make? I have no idea. It could be the most annoying thing on earth.
Resident Muslim: My mind did a double take. So I read that as flaming flamingoes.
kd8our: Before we judge. Anyone what sounds do those damn things make? I have no idea. It could be the most annoying thing on earth. The strangest sounding animals around here tend to be rabbits, owls, foxes, coyotes, deer and early morning birds. People freak out when they hear that stuff for the first time. People don't expect some of those sounds out of the animals that make them. Yes, people have thought their home or property haunted due to animal noises. Don't question stupidity. I am sure it's the real cause of the flamingo slashings. Still, this has nothing on the Duluth Ball Slasher, or DBS as i call him. When I lived in Tipp City I got a job at a small church. One of the jobs was installing speakers and a "bird blaster" in the spire. The spire was made of that copper sheeting and had numerous small holes. I had to ask about the holes. I knew those had to be bullet holes. The current owner told me about a former pastor who eventually snapped over the racket caused by the birds. At the time he lived in a small house that was then part of the church property. Currently a few houses have gone up around the church. This happened in the 1970's and I was shown an old paper clipping that hung in the office.Seems the old boy had a beef with an atheist owl, heathen hawks and some pegan pigeons that tried to take up residence in the church steeple. He was arrested one morning after a shooting up the steeple in an attempt to disperse the sinners. Some of his stray round did damage elsewhere, but nobody was injured/killed... In fact the clipping even said none of the birds were harmed. My guess is he was gone after that. Given the number of holes I saw while installing the proper "bird blaster" my guess was he was no stranger to plinking birds off the church steeple. Many holes came from the area his home was located at.
Sonic Yawn: The flamingo killings in Frankfurt leave the German media guessing. "Who would do such a thing?"I'm going to guess Claude Cooper. You can't trust those kleptomaniacs.
Dinobot: According to a different article, some of then were actually beheaded.http://www.cbsnews.com/news/sleeping-flamingos-beheaded-at-german-zo o- killer-sought/
Dwight_Yeast: Dinobot: According to a different article, some of then were actually beheaded.http://www.cbsnews.com/news/sleeping-flamingos-beheaded-at-german-zo o- killer-sought/According to the BBC, this is the second time this has happened. The first was in 2008, which suggests it was someone mentally unwell.
