The difference is, all 3 million people are working towards the same goal of finding the plane.  There are at least 100,000 Canadians desperately working to keep him out of Canada.  And they're really desperate.

Yes, but didn't the Bieb break his parole? Won't that affect his immigration status? Or am I thinking of Chris Brown?

If this turns out to be caused by a lithium ion battery fire, there will be hell to pay at Boeing.

Why at Boeing?  If that turns out to be the case, it's not an aircraft issue it's an improper shipping issue.  i.e. hell to pay in Malaysia.

It's my contention that this plane is sitting in a hanger somewhere.

glad I didn't waste my time searching in the wrong area because Malaysia didn't care enough about its own plane and people

You add this to the series of fires in the 787, and you're going to have a PR problem.

If by "helping to find" you mean half-heartedly skimming yet another story about the Malasian airliner, then I believe you can add a plus one to that number.

The 777 has been in service almost 20 years.  I don't think it even has lithium ion batteries. Batteries have never been an issue for it before though.

The 787 has had battery problems, but the theory of a battery fire in this case stems from a shipment of batteries in the cargo hold, not on the aircraft itself.

I had CNN's airliner porn on this morning and heard some talking head suggest cyber hijacking. I admit I haven't watched very much of it so I'm not completely up to date on all of tne hypotheses, but is that possible?

There was a link to another article, titled, "It's lonely at home", says US President as Michelle Obama kicks off China visit with Peng Liyuan.

Did Bill ever say, "It's lonely at home", when Hillary was off infesting some other country?  I think not.

Obama better watch out!  He doesn't know the Peng Liyuan is the real "Studman 69".  Michelle might never come back after getting a taste that lovin'.

Canadians have a very long history of getting things done despite being severely outnumbered and under equipped, and an equally long history of smuggling things to and from the States more or less at will. (I have stories. Hoo boy, do I have stories.) Bieber shows up in Canada again, he'll find himself waking up in a St. Louis alleyway in his underwear before noon next day.

I doubt it, but any knowledge of programming and hacking is quite primitive. That's why I asked.
