As for why people would smoke spice in a state where pot is legal...you can still be fired from your job for testing positive for weed. The most commonly used 5 panel testing doesn't check for most of the synthetic designer drugs.

Yeah, it's similar to alcohol, in that there are certain professions where you shouldn't be under the influence of them, legal or not. The nefarious thing is that weed may be the least harmful drug of all, but it stays in your system the longest. Until they can come out with a test that will be able to determine current level of impairness, not residuals in the body, smokers are screwed.

Yes it is. Luckily it will probably change soon because the Colorado Supreme Court granted cert on the retarded Colorado Court of Appeals decision from last spring, Coats v. Dish Network, that created the current state of affairs. As that decision was the first appellate decision on the lawful activities statute and marijuana, they probably wouldn't have done that if they were just going to affirm it. Plus the logical basis of the court of appeals decision went from weak to nonexistent when the feds announced their hands off policy on recreational pot.

Of course you shouldn't be under the influence of them on the job.

Hopefully a test will be developed to determine how impaired one currently is.

I live in Colorado and have a client that smokes spice so Im getting a kick out of these replies.

From what I understand the high is different, its much more intense and lasts less time than traditional cannabis.  I personally have never used it though so I cant say that from first hand experience.  It also is much more dangerous as it can make regular users very depressed - something to do with serotonin or dopamine levels.

Stick with the pot kids.

I found some spice once, and then I saw this:

A Reverend Mother will read my words!

I bequeath to you my fear and loneliness. To you I give the certainty that the body and soul of the Bene Gesserit will meet the same fate as all other bodies and all other souls.

What is survival if you do not survive whole? Ask the Bene Tleilax that! What if you no longer hear the music of life? Memories are not enough unless they call you to noble purpose!

Why did your sisterhood not build the Golden Path? You knew the necessity. Your failure condemned me, the God Emperor, to millennia of personal despair.

My words are your past, my questions are simple:  With whom do you ally? With the self-idolators of the Tleilax? With my Fish Speaker bureaucracy? With the cosmos-wandering Guild? With Harkonnen blood sacrificers? With a dogmatic sink of your own creation? How will you meet your end? As no more than a secret society?

According to the kiddies 7 out of 10 times it is the worst high ever. The other 3 times it is the best high. I tried it once and I felt paralyzed for 30 minutes and it was painful to move. I didn't even want to talk..it was awful with a little bit of light headedness, tunnel vision, and wanting to hold my breath. DO NOT TRY SPICE. I think it's becoming illegal in a bunch of states anyway.

On the other hand, I tried salvia when it was legal and it was awesome. I thought everyone/thing was hilarious and it was raining inside(a common hallucination for me). I think I cracked up for 30 minutes straight.

Drug tests for weed are silly.

It's really easy to tell if someone's high. It's nearly impossible not to test positive for weed for a long time after you're clear in the head again.

In the neighborhood where I used to live in Aurora, this stuff was the shiznit for parolees.  From what I have seen, it is not all that kind to those using it nor those around users (e.g., seizure-like passing out, etc.).

I didn't like salvia. I became a couch, and it was unsettling. It only lasted about 5 minutes, and caused headaches. Meh, I'll stick with pot.

If only he had taken a time machine back a few years, to when legal pot was legal, and not illegal like now, only made because it was a substitute for illegal pot which is now legal.
