Five minutes with an empty net. I've never seen that before.

It's the Cup playoffs. With the Bruins' luck, they get the Caps. Again.

It's pairing, then seeding.

I'll poke in the threads when the B's play and the Missus has the remote. Social media does enough play by play to follow, and there's NHL Gamecenter.

They are also the only team to shut out the Ave's this season.

They said it was something like 14 back in 1929.

Farking hell, Coyotes. You had that game and you farking lost it. Again.

That said, the B's are the best team I've seen play this year. They are scary good.

/Coyotes have blown way too many leads in the 3rd this season

Jack Edwards called the Krejci line "The Torture Chamber" during the shift right before Thornton tipped the go-ahead goal into the net near the end of the game.

Bruins are incredible in the first and third periods. They've struggled in the second period for the last few years. Maybe because of the long change on defense.

Drink?

Well, the Coyotes did score on them in the 1st (I think they said it's the first 1st period goal the Bruins have given up since the 1st game of this streak) and did have the lead on them (1st time Boston trailed in 6+ games). But that 3rd period combo of the Bruins dominance and the Coyotes propensity to blow leads (I think we've blown 4 3rd period leads since the Olympic Break) was a recipe for disaster from the Phoenix prospective.

To be honest I was a little worried that the Coyotes had broken two streaks in the first half of the game. But the Bruins grind and by the end of the game their opponents are wiped out.

This B's team does. not. give. up. I think they learned a few things from the year after they won the cup.
