What's next? Galaxy High? Pole Position? Muppet Babies? Dungeons and Dragons? Who would play Venger?

Jem is a good start, but until they've started really delving into the old Kroft Superstars lineup, I will never be happy.

We can start with Electra Woman and Dynah Girl. I have some ideas about potential candidates for the starring roles. Next up can be a re-worked Bugaloos, except in this one there's been a major catastrophe and only Joy remains, her pink tutu in tatters.

Actually I would be cool with a remake of Galaxy High. Underrated cartoon put in a real crappy timeslot.

This. Those two made me feel funny in my pants as a child.

I'm actually imagining some sort of Electra Woman and Dynah Girl/Wonder Woman crossover, with lots of magic lasso work.

So I assume that Debra Winger's massive Wonder Girls in spandex would also be held back for the sequel?

Possibly the one where they team up with a brotherless B.J. Masterson to defeat a newly empowered Dr. Shrinker, who's managed to bring the Bionic Woman under his control and has become, as a result, unstoppable.

I'm much more excited about the Neverending Story remake that was recently greenlit. Jaden Smith is going to be great as Atreyu.

Maybe they could remake Camp Candy, with John Goodman taking John Candy's role as camp counselor?  We could name it...Camp Candy 2000!

There's talk about him playing Tony and Jaden Smith playing Bernardo in a remake of West Side Story. Nicki Minaj will be Maria. They're doing new music and choreography but otherwise it will be faithful to the original. The dance battles will be epic!

Yeah, I used to watch it every morning while getting ready for work. It was much better than the morning shows on the major networks. I'm not interested in watching a live-action version of the show, though.

You are a bad man. Also, when I was a kid, I thought Atreyu was genderless, so maybe Hayden Smith would work out.

Cheetara Cosplay - Not as cool as you'd think, but, I don't know you, or how you get your weird boners.

Fano: mysterious cities of gold.

I think that could be a great 3 film franchise.  IIRC, there were parts of the story arc that were never tied up.  Belle and Sebastian might have to be toned down, a third character could help it along.  I can't remember a recent (15 years plus) film that featured an animal protagonist with one human accompanying.  Either of those cartoons could be just slightly retooled and be quite successful.  It might be tough justifying the three characters in MCoG in the lense of political correctness, but it could be done.

Damn, there was some cartoon back then that I watched that scared the crap out of me. I can't remember what it was.

All I remember is some scene in which a bunch of eggs hatched and one of the babies ate all the others and then screamed at the camera.

Chilling ...

I'm amazed subby used the word "unlamented". It's not every twelve year old with that in his vocabulary.

You can't call those three streaming piles of Courtney Love dung Transformers movies...

Thats like trying to have The Rock as a GI Joe...

I was too old for that show but I might be interested in a live-action movie depending on the actresses and if they keep the skirts as short as the picture in the article.

On the other hand, not even Rachael Leigh Cook could make Josie and the Pussycats watchable.

'80s and '90s cartoons were program length commercials for lines of toys. You need a serious pair of the rose-colored glasses of nostalgia not to realize they all sucked.

Some people base their whole identities around this stuff.
