"I thought she was gonna win that thing, but the TV people found out that I was gonna be on the road the last week, so they let Kenny Loggins' kid win it, and that kid was a bum too."

The Kenny Loggins Christmas story has become my favorite Christmas tradition...absolutely love that story!

Money went on to say how he never got credit for singing on Loggins' hit record, 'I'm Alright.' "I sang the bridge in that, we were label mates, you know

Never heard that before. I'm not really a Kenny Loggins fan, but when that song comes on it still makes me happy, probably because I watched Caddyshack easily fifty times growing up.

This is all based on the assumption that Eddie Money can actually sing.

Mr. Money then spent 25 minutes explaining his new career in GEICO commercials and how he hopes to direct them one day.

I just now realized that the retarded looking guy from the Geico commercials is actually Eddie Money and not just some actor playing a guy who sings terribly while selling travel insurance.

Ohh. It wasn't until I was halfway down the thread that I realized the headline said Money, not Murphy. Makes more sense now. :P

He performed at a community event here a few years ago, and I thought he was actually quite good.

I always thought he was a great singer for being an obvious victim of several strokes

This. Turns out that Loggins is a big fan of Archer and approached them to do that shot-for-shot remake of the Danger Zone video.

God, Kidd Chris is still around? What a turd. I hadn't thought about him since he slinked out of our radio market like 15 years ago.

Agreed with all the comments regarding Eddie looking like a drunk epileptic who's had a stroke, but have you seen his daughter??  Can't add a pic now but look her up.  Saw them live together a couple years ago and got-dang.  His wife's genes must have overcome.

Kinda coincidental that he sang on the Caddyshack soundtrack, and he looks like Carl Spackler.
