Who wants a miniature sun in their furnace room? It will burn your house down. Plus, suns are hard to turn off.

It's a story about lasers, the Boobies should obviously be about popcorn. Shame on you, both!

I am currently in southern France working with the ITERproject (IT support mostly).

The New Yorker had a nice article about the whole project, it's a long read but it is very informative.

Furnace room? No man you put the miniature sun in the center of your city and power a million houses from it. Although a better use is to put the miniature sun in your space ship and send it off to Ceti Alpha 5 with some gene-engineered super dudes.

So Omar Hurricane works in physics, while in my neck of the woods we have a weatherman named Victor Proton. The world's gone mad!
