While there's no reason you would currently need or be able to log into an Apple account through EA's website, the domain certainly provides a veneer of respectability that could help to deceive visitors.

That should've been their first clue. There is no respectability with EA.

Because of course they are.

Yep, which is pretty farking stupid considering there's a ton of other companies that actually ruin people's lives.

But gamers are a vocal bunch who know how to work the internet. Plus people screwed out of their homes by BoA probably don't have internet access to vote.

i think its some what comparative. take banking, chase, boa, wells fargo etc all do the same bullshiat. in the service provider world comcast, time warner, verizon all rape you in the ass as well as possible. while ea isn't the only shiatty game company, they pretty much set the extreme on the garbage spectrum and they compete with many companies that are well liked like valve.

From the company which actually said 'we cannot delete credit card information from Origin, that feature does not exist. Users cannot do it, and customer service reps cannot do it' for years.  I'm sadly not making that up or exaggerating.

I love EA.  I charge my electric car there everyday for free.  Their cafeteria is awesome.   The campus is beautiful and well maintained.  At noon many employees are outside playing soccer or flag football.   Only problem is I don't work there....But they don't seem to mind.

The irony of it all is that gamers already have the next EA title up on Pre-Order.

I don't get the hate for EA.  I love their games, especially Dungeon MasterTM.  The gameplay is compelling, the graphics exceptional and the entire experience is infused with sly humor that makes it a pleasure to play.  And the current special pricing on in-app Gem purchases is a steal.   You can't afford not to buy the 10,000 gem pack!

Yeah, forget companies that poison the environment or Wall Street gambling that tanks the economy. EA is the real villain!

I would argue they ruin the lives of their employees.
