If Hobby lobby wins their idiotic case, there would be nothing to stop employers from forcing employees to only seek medical care from believers in creationism and creating a religious requirement to work at a for profit company. I wonder if besides the owners nutty ideas to control aspects of employees lives because they want to have a job, hobby lobby core customers are the  home schooled and other similar mind nutjobs.

Not to mention that those who work for employers who are Christian Scientists or Jehovah's Witnesses would end up with some really unusual health insurance plans.

It's really just a matter of time before this happens.

If I were working there, I would've already started looking for a new job somewhere else a long time ago. Even when they lose, I would not want to associate with a company that feels it's okay to fark with a person's body or their personal choices.

Man are these guys going to be ever so pissed when their stupid farking nonsense starts being applied in a halal/haram context.

When the proprietors of Mo's House of Chicken and Falafels start quizzing waitresses at the start of each shift to find out if they need to be sent home because of menstrual reasons, I'm looking at you, Hobby Lobby.

I worked at Hobby Lobby when I was in college. I masturbated in the bathrooms a lot.

Is that sinful?

In Hobby Lobby's lawsuit, for instance, the company states that it does not want to follow the Obamacare provision that forces employers to "provide health insurance coverage for abortion-inducing drugs and devices, as well as related education and counseling."

Can someone please explain to these dense motherfarkers how Plan B works?

It's been explained to them countless time. They simply choose willful ignorance when reality counters their preconceived notions.

Iran's government pays for contraception.  Think about that for a minute.  The worlds most back woods religious state pays for contraception and Hobby Lobby thinks it's a sin.

That's what they are saying in this case: "Corporate I should dictate how my employees' compensation is spent because Corporate I finds it icky".  If SCOTUS lets them sail through without several thousand pages of meticulously exacting restrictions on this, Hobby Lobby could demand employees buy specific products with their paychecks just by claiming religious reasons.  "It is infringing upon my religious freedom to let you get birth control pills with your compensation from my company" is indistinguishable from "It is infringing upon my religious freedom to let you buy Mott's Applesauce with your compensation from my company."

Evidently about as much as you do with regards to the female reproductive cycle.

Menstruation = babby was not formed
Ovulation = Let's try this again

The Salvation Army just entered a consent decree to not discriminate on religious grounds for people it employs performing contract work on the public contracts, and not proselytizing to those receiving the services.

Pray-for-pay is a VERY dangerous precedent.

I have been n a Hobby lobby one just one time, everything was way over pried so i left buying nothing.

Now with the owner acting like this i will never darken there door again.

My Advice to all business owners who want to run their business with no one getting bent out of shape is keep your politics and religion out of your place of business.   Take the money and deliver your service or goods and move to the next customer.

If Hobby Lobby gets bought out, would it undergo a "religious conversion"? And if it's "religious beliefs" can be purchased by the highest bidder, how could we possibly consider those to be "religious beliefs"?

Only for the first 25 years, then the child has to buy insurance for the next 50-75 years.
