HIV was created to kill minorities.

Yes, I believe this. Do you see any minotaurs? They were wiped out by HIV.

My best guess based on comments in these types of threads, I'd put that at under 5% of Farkers.  There are those here who believe some of that, but it's nowhere near 50%.

Fluoridation has nothing to so with toxic waste. Its all about making the citizens complacent through extended use of mood stabilizing drugs ...masquerading as fluoride

The more interesting thing to me are the people who strongly disagree with some of those as being ridiculous, but strongly believe one or more of them.  I know a guy who thinks the vaccine-autism link is insane, and same with fluoridation being a toxic waste thing.  But he believes the Big Pharma conspiracy.

He's also a big Zeitgeist Movement fan, many of whom I've noticed have an affinity for conspiracies.

Conspiracies give order to our tangled, meaningless existence. I don't subscribe to any of those in the title, but I do think a shady entertainment cabal collides to put every show on commercials at the same time.

I will say that Big Pharma has one goal, and one goal only, and that is to make the most money possible...  If you think differently, YOU'RE the naive one.    Not saying medication doesn't help people sometimes, though...

Even if some big drug company was hit with a multi-million dollar class action suit... that simply a drop in the bucket to them.  Its the cost of doing business.  They wouldn't even bat an eye.  Financially, it makes more sense for them to push out more drugs, regardless of safety and efficacy, and take a teeny tiny hit on the back end.

Big Pharma isn't a conspiracy, but they have pretty well established that they would rather invest in maintenance drugs rather than cures that don't benefit them, and they sure as hell would rather charge an arm and a leg for treatment than give it away for free for the betterment of the public.  Jonas Salk is a saint for a reason

You know, I used to work in IT in an aids research lab. I'm pretty sure most of the doctors and researchers there laugh at such nonsensical blather such as yours. Altruism aside ( I believe the people I interacted with were mainly earnest in looking for a cure) do you think for a moment that not one of them doesn't want to be known as the person who cured aids?

But of course...its just all a conspiracy

Vaccines cause autism.

No, ponies do.

Big Pharma is conspiring to keep us sick.

I'll give you that one.

HIV was created to kill minorities.

No, HIV was created to discourage people from farking monkies.

Fluoridation is how companies get rid of toxic waste.

No, fluoridation is how the international communist conspiracy siphons off our precious bodily fluids.

"If we doctors threw all our medicines into the sea, it would be that much better for our patients and that much worse for the fishes." - Oliver Wendell Holmes, MD

I know a cure that costs nothing but will heal most of your ills. But it's not the pleasant option. Go on a fast, 600 calories a day or less, mostly greens and vinegar no oils or protein. A couple days will straighten out your drunken gluttony spree, a couple months can cure type two diabetes.

Not necessarily.  When any given drug can cost upwards of $1 billion to get to market, lots of diseases and conditions are going to fall through the cracks, even if we as a society would benefit from them.  If a drug is not going to be widely used, then a lot of times, it just doesn't make financial sense to engage in the research.  Look at things like antibiotics research.  People still get bacterial infections that could theoretically be cured by effective antibiotics, but Pharma got out of that game because antibiotics are worth minus $50 million to a company.  No, Big Pharma isn't conspiring to keep us sick, but it's undeniable that their efforts are focused on the things they can treat profitably.

To be honest, I think we've chased off the majority of anti-vaxxers.  They are the only ones I've ever met that thing HIV was created to kill minorities.

The EMF people are still hanging around, and we have some fluoridation nutters about too, but we have a good number of "Big Pharma" and "GMO bad"(when it should be "Monsanto/Bayer bad" ) people around.

The site is pretty low on young earth creationists these days too, but I digress.

Well, I don't know how NASA was involved, but it's the same doom and gloom that's existed for the past 5000 years. But we have something none of those civilizations had, interconnection. Everyone can produce the best they can and consume each other's output globally. Modern civilization is only doomed to become "the good old days" in the same way we watch Downton Abbey.

Yeah, the suits are only responsible for decisions that are inconsequential to researchers... like whether the researchers get money, equipment, personnel, and research space.  You know, peanuts stuff.

Amazingly enough, the intelligence of a population is represented quite accurately by a bell curve. As has been repeatedly documented using several metrics, and is fairly broadly known.
