"They have lion's blood and are top-of-the-range mastiff studs," the dog's breeder Zhang Gengyun was quoted as telling the paper,

Genetics ain't your strong point, buddy.

I thought China was a communist state, who the hell there has $2million to buy a dog while many rural people don't even have running water?

(yes I know, I'm being sarcastic)

If the guy who bought the dog believes this, then yeah, he DESERVES to pay that much, the dummy.

Who's taking bets?  If these ever become popular in the US, they take over from pit bulls as most scare-tastic dog in about a minute.

The golden-haired animal was 80 centimetres (31 inches) tall, and weighed 90 kilograms (nearly 200 pounds), Zhang said, adding that he was sad to sell the animals. Neither was named in the report.

That's one hell of a "puppy"

I could see that for a cat, but totally not for a dog.

Uh, why didn't they just take it?  I think Tibet and China have 'that kind' of relationship.  It's not a relationship that I, personally, approve of.  But whatever floats your boat, Tibet.  Some countries like that.  Look at Russia and the Ukraine. Slappy.  Slappy.  Am I right?

There was a country that I dated in college, whoa.  She was in to some stuff.  Weird stuff.  "You wanna annex my peninsula and station your navy there?" she'd coolly say.  "How about taking control of my long term potable water rights?"  She said that in the middle of a crowded restaurant.  Canada and Mexico were right there in the very same restaurant.  If I did that to her, they'd figure I'd be all up in their water management.  I told her I had to go fight a war and I wouldn't have time for her.  She deserved some country that would give her the attention she needed.  She ended up with France.  Yeah.  I still laugh about that one.
