Well,that's dumb; at least include a switch to turn the dictionary on or off. That said, I've challenged a local Scrabble master to a game vs a Scrabble-cheat program, and the human occasionally won.

Scrabble cheat programs are excellent at determining maximum point for certain letter combinations but there is more to scrabble than that. The strategy of controlling the board by not setting up high value doubles and triples is more important than a computer program coming up with obscure words.
