Great, now I want to write a western with a Mongolian Lawman.

With a bow and eagle.

That would actually be badass. Bloody, but badass.

The internet is a strange place indeed.

I used to have a Vietnamese đàn bầu. It's pretty easy to play once you get the hang of it.
It's only one string and you pluck it in certain spots with your pinky resting on string and then lifting it off as you pluck. Like the harmonic sounds you make on a guitar.
That thing she's bending with her left hand is made of buffalo horn, it acts the same as a wammy bar.

Hell's teeth - a manual Theremin.

I rather enjoyed it, actually.

I was watching for some ancient, Asian, nearly invisible silk string instrument thing going on until I got to about 3:30.  Then I started thinking, Theremin with MIDI output?  WTF (not impossible, already been done, but)?  Best I can figure she's got the (coolest) Theremin ever made and playing it like mad while that dude in the background with the square guitar doing the metallic string plucking.

Good effect overall. I'd really like to know how her Theremin's pitch control works, though.  A flexible stalk that moves toward the actual antenna?  Hidden where, in the "fingerboard"?

Cool stuff.

OK, no.  She's got a super Theremin.  Fully integrated into a larger, more intelligent sound synthesis system.  Extra controls hidden in fingerboard/fretboard, whatever. All that matters is

We are doomed.

Ghostriders in the Sky is one of my favourite songs for reasons I don't really understand.  Here are some other versions that I happen to enjoy:

Spider Bait
The Outlaws
Die Apokalyptischen Reiter
Johnny Cash

The mere existence of this music means that Quentin Tarantino must make a movie that features it.

That drummer was really going for it in the breakdown.

I support this idea.

Also, I was kind of expecting this would've happened in the end.
