I'm doubting this race will be over in time. Anyone know if it will be a delay or moved to another channel?

2014-03-16 07:56:04 PM
Yaaay!

2014-03-16 07:57:42 PM
nm, race mode to FS1. We are green for launch.

Oh god, my liver can't handle a drinking game tonight, I've been drinking since 8pm last night, with brief pauses for sleep.

2014-03-16 08:12:09 PM
Well, crap. I won't be participating in this one. Cosmos isn't on until 8:00 Arizona time, and isn't being simulcast on other channels like it was last week.

Stupid time zones.

2014-03-16 08:18:56 PM
Nice, you got the greenlight this time!

Woah. I didn't realize they weren't doing a simulcast for other episodes. Only Fox broadcast now.

Last week's Fox broadcast seemed to have odd digital mess-ups, hopefully that will be resolved this time.

I already watched this episode tomorrow.

2014-03-16 08:27:45 PM
Huh? I thought it was moving to Monday...it's not Monday is it.

2014-03-16 08:33:44 PM
I think it's on Fox on Sun nights and NatGeo on Mondays.

2014-03-16 08:35:17 PM

Via Infinito: I think it's on Fox on Sun nights and NatGeo on Mondays.

There is way too much to watch on Sunday nights. I can't even DVR it. I watch Shameless, Walking Dead, Cosmos, and starting again soon is Nurse Jackie and DaVinci's Demons. I can't keep up with it all. I have to torrent.

2014-03-16 08:41:25 PM
wish it wasn't on the same time as Walking Dead but thankfully they repeat WD at 11 pm

2014-03-16 08:41:37 PM
I haven't even watched the first episode yet.  Recorded it but been too busy to watch.  Was it good?

2014-03-16 08:41:50 PM
So, do I have to have a TV for this thing? Or is there a place I can watch online for free?

2014-03-16 08:44:06 PM
What are the odds of the Oklahoma TV station farking it up accidentally on purpose again?

Not sure how long it takes for them to put up the latest episode, but you can try cosmosontv.com later in the week.

Gird your Adblockers, then google "Watch fox live". Pick one. I'm using stream2watch.me which seems to work.

Central Oklahoma rules: Drink every time a commercial is shown instead of a mention of evolution.

/Actually I am damn sure last week was a mistake.  But if it is not, better have at least a hundred drinks ready.

2014-03-16 08:47:41 PM
Damn, I'm already drinking

It's great for what it's meant to be - something to get kids excited about natural science and discovery. Neil is entertaining, and it looks like he's gong to be touching on some pretty fresh theories.

Nothing mind-blowing if you're a relatively educated adult and keep up on astronomy news, and those who watched the original when they were kids seem to be underwhelmed (probably nostalgia defeating objectivity).

It's like waiting for atheist church to start

2014-03-16 08:55:27 PM
I like how you can tell it's on Fox because they got Craig Robinson from Hot Tub Time Machine to host.

2014-03-16 08:55:39 PM
I'm curious why a science show is rated PG-DV?????

Why, is this a burden upon you? Can you just not stand a thread once a week that you have every option of ignoring?

Just another heathen TV show by some Darwin loving Devil worshipers.

Well they did start with the kid gloves.

today's generation to be inspired is not the same as the original cosmos. They are ambitious, but in a different way/goal in mind.

i think the gentle coaxing into bigger is not a bad way to go, but yes, i am a bit underwhelmed.

Here in Portland, they're showing the broadcast at a beer-friendly movie theater. Pity I won't be able to go.
