I always wanted to try designing a rollercoaster that went really fast uphill but ratcheted its way downhill... probably not very efficient to run, though.

I actually read this in the newspaper yesterday. I believe the headline was "Teen arrested for biting nose off son." I just thought, "Made for Fark headline."

Mystery Vortex: Hurt people hurt people. Years ago someone else decided that baby Joshua Cooper was also a punching bag. The difference is that that time nobody cared and nobody helped. Things like this are cyclical.


this. it's not an excuse, but the more we learn about why people do things the better chance we have of making them stop, or even preventing it happening in the first place
