Every time I see a link to I-Mockery, I think to myself, "I-Mockery is still around?"

Today was no different.

I remember these toys.  They must have been pretty cheap because I had a few of them.

I was 11 in 1980 but I don't remember these at all.

I don't remember those toys, but I had a few of those punch-out books. Had a Star Trek mobile from one.

I had some of both the toys and the pop-out book.

I had a few of those action figures.  Transformers were my main toy back then and some family member probably got them for me not knowing the difference.  They had suction cups on the bottom that I would use to stick to the bathtub.

I got one of those robots after sending in a few tops of a cereal box. Not a very cool toy when Transformers were around.

I had that book and the Maxx Steele toy...the small one that is.  I always wanted the bigger version that that a "real" robot with a remote control.

Say what you will about 80s commercialism, it turned out some really bad ass toys.

I had pretty much the whole set of those toys when I was little. Including the mountain base and the vehicles.

those and starriors were the odd toys I had that no one else seemed to.

Which is saying something, given that they were essentially just a kung-fu grip on top of a suction cup.

Not knocking them; I had a few myself. I even had the Max Steele Erector set (though not the big robot). But sometimes I look back and wonder how the heck they got us to go so gaga over these things.

Really? I heard he married the guy from x-entertainment.com in a gay Rainbow Brite themed ceremony and they moved to Manitoba to raise their adopted kids in an irony-free environment.

I never had those toys but I had this book which I loved as a kid.  Now I want to look for that the next time I go home.
