REO-Weedwagon: It pains me knowing some well-paid dipsh*t radio consultant came up with this "creativity".
Kyosuke: Huge amount of publicity for the station. Can't say the money was wasted.
drjekel_mrhyde: The did the same with Fresh Prince when a station was switching over
Sinbox: fusillade762: If you were forced to listen to either Nelly or Justin Beiber for 17 hours, what would you choose? The sweet release of Lady Death.
neuroflare: A number of years ago a radio station in Phoenix played Paris Hilton songs for 24 hours before changing formats from talk radio aimed at 20-somethings to top 40.
BeatrixK: Sounds like a station is getting ready for a programming change.
Lunger42: An up and coming alternative station in Los Angeles did this when it switched over to spanish, instead of Nelly, we got "Feliz Navidad". Sad way for a good station to go. :( I miss you Y107.
weirdneighbour: Is Nelly a rap guy?
soporific: I always prefer radio stations to shift formats during the commercial break. Before the break they were country. When they came back they're classic rock. It's even better if they keep the same DJs.
LV426: Suicide rates will be thru the roof when it's over. What's better than listening to Nelly? Hmmmm stabbing my eardrums out with a pencil? no. Not listening to radio and only ipod? yes.
