Serious Black: Clutch2013: Kit Fister: I love fark. Not in a big city or trendy 'burb? You're a hick and redneck and worthless and no one would want to go there, ever. Never mind the place is gorgeous and has a lot of great camping and beautiful landscapes. If it ain't some bastion of forward thinking progress it ain't worth seeing.

/city folk.

I think we can all agree that outside of a city or suburb, there are many beautiful places worth visiting and even living in.

The downside is, far too many of these places have inhabitants who are, at best, mildly retarded and at worst, David Koresh aspirees.

Yup. My ex went there to visit her brother when he was in college in Louisville. She had nothing but good things to say about the city. Unfortunately, they happen to be home to a group of the most virulently anti-gay people I've ever seen outside of Westboro. They withheld millions of dollars from a foster child rescue program and deposed the extremely competent director of the program because he merely suggested the board think about establishing an anti-discrimination policy on the basis of sexual orientation. Jesus would spit on these people.

Yes, fark those people. I'm positive you'll find the same types of racists and homophobes all over America. I'm from Louisville. I hate that you had to encounter some of the bad seeds we have. We're still having growing pains. Stop by during Derby and I'll buy you a beer.
