$300 a week is the going rate for summer day care for school kids. x 2 kids x 10 weeks = I need a second job.

So, not that i care much about fashion, but since when have the stores mentioned been considered fashionable?  for 300 a week, they should be looking at dior and chanel.

Well, wookies do have a lot of hair to manage.

I love fark. Not in a big city or trendy 'burb? You're a hick and redneck and worthless and no one would want to go there, ever. Never mind the place is gorgeous and has a lot of great camping and beautiful landscapes. If it ain't some bastion of forward thinking progress it ain't worth seeing.

You don't get it.  Justice et al are probably paying kickbacks to this 'academy' based on the volume of sales and how many of the girls are queen bee influencers in their schools.

300 a week to teach young girls to lie there and not move or make noise?  Eh, I'm pretty sure my ex-wife gives lessons in that as a community service.

I think we can all agree that outside of a city or suburb, there are many beautiful places worth visiting and even living in.

The downside is, far too many of these places have inhabitants who are, at best, mildly retarded and at worst, David Koresh aspirees.

It's not news, it's daycare ads with Kardashian headlines that make no sense.

probably.  the kickbacks are one of the major reasons i do not read fashion magazines.  i refuse to pay money to get opinions which are actually paid for advertisements.....or money for an opinion.  the concept is silly to me.
/plus the clothing is ugly...and if it isnt, they put it together in a way that makes it look ugly....apparently ugly is equivalent to avant garde.
//but for 300 per week they really should be looking at more than factory mass produced mall crap....even if it is just a slideshow or a museum.

I haven't found that to be true, and I've travelled extensively

Yup. My ex went there to visit her brother when he was in college in Louisville. She had nothing but good things to say about the city. Unfortunately, they happen to be home to a group of the most virulently anti-gay people I've ever seen outside of Westboro. They withheld millions of dollars from a foster child rescue program and deposed the extremely competent director of the program because he merely suggested the board think about establishing an anti-discrimination policy on the basis of sexual orientation. Jesus would spit on these people.

Obviously jealous of people who haven't turn their home into an unlivable hell-hole. Sucks to be them.

That's the funny part. Louisville (the city itself, some of the surrounding areas are a little sketch) is a bastion of forward thinking progress. It's just not a massive city. That fact doesn't hurt it at all.

For 9-3 summer camp where you supply the food and snacks, it's $300/week. And we're talking run by high schoolers, playing out on the football field kind of summer camp. Nothing fancy. we're in the 'burbs of Boston.

Why is this posted article even news?

Yes, fark those people. I'm positive you'll find the same types of racists and homophobes all over America. I'm from Louisville. I hate that you had to encounter some of the bad seeds we have. We're still having growing pains. Stop by during Derby and I'll buy you a beer.

My daughter does either a ballet camp, school camp or one from the YMCA (only one a summer, we don't have time for anything else).

I don't think she needs any help learning how to spend my money, though.

The camp isn't even a full day; the hours are 8am until noon.
