You gotta tell them to hold the lizard.

So what kind of moron doesn't inspect their food, before they eat it, to make sure there isn't anything in it they don't want to eat?

/Granted, lizard heads shouldn't be in a salad, unless advertised as such.

Feh. Crunchy protein.

They need some Gorillas where they keep the salad.

Psssht. I bet she ate half the salad, then she put the lizard parts in and "alerted" the waitstaff to it to get her meal comped.

Seen it a million times.

Is it better than crunchy frog?

It's gross, but it happens all the time, though usually small enough bits that we don't notice. Most food comes from outside, stuff outside gets contacted by various wildlife. A bit of lizard or bug parts won't hurt anyone, some cultures eat this stuff regularly.

Get a new salad and get on with life.

A reptile dysfunction.

Probably better than tiny little birdie turds

Your gonna have to pay extra for that.

Hey, you know how much adding meat to a salad costs. Free lizard.

What could be worse?
Being the lizard.

This is why I don't order anything more complicated than pizza at Alamo Draft House.

But we don't have lizards in Paris. I wonder if there's something else that would work?

🎵I wish I were in Tijuana, eating barbequed iguana🎵

But seriously, many reptiles harbor nasty strains of salmonella bacteria. If properly cooked they might be safe to eat, but consuming repti-sushi is likely to result in explosive diarrhea.

A New York City woman who said she was enjoying a kale salad

Well, we already know she's a terrible liar.

Looks like an anole. From childhood experience, they turn brown when they're dead. Must have been really fresh.

You know what doesn't have lizards hiding in it? Steak. I've never taken a bite out of a steak and seen a lizard poking out where I cut.

Y'all vegan hippie types ask to be closer to nature... what did you think pre-industrial food looks like? We spent quite a lot of time and money killing everything on the farm that we don't want to eat, but if you're going to reject all that technological advance, I think you deserve the little "extras" you get. In this case, a little fella that loves to eat the extras as much as you hippies must like them.

Looks like an anole to me, too, with that long snout. Plus the size. Wonder if it was after a much smaller creature in the greens before meeting its unpleasant demise.

Poor thing.

I'm holding a lizard right now.

Andrew Zimmern would have eaten the lizard.

She has to be lying, kale can't taste all that good if she didn't notice lizard in it.

/Seen used as garnishment, but I've never ate kale

I imagine it's worse to find out you're allergic to ground lizard parts after experiencing anaphalaxis at an Indonesian restaurant.
