China White Tea: I don't really see what the problem is. Someone suggested to me the other day that the meat in the Chinese food I was eating "might be stray cat."I thought about it for a minute, decided it tasted pretty good, and as long as it wasn't diseased, riddled with live parasites, or otherwise going to harm me that I didn't really give a fark.
Foxxinnia: I don't think I could eat a carnivore.
shazbotuh: Slaxl: shazbotuh: Slaxl: Yes, it is sick that they seek to legislate their own tastes and standards and force everyone to be like they are. What if it was your dog or cat that suddenly went missing... pets escape all the time- only there it's more likely they'd end up on someone's plate.*ctrl+f "catsup" - 0 results*The only cat i'd have is one that's served up with fries, and... (snerk!!) Catsup!Thank you, I'm here all night. Try the veal kitty. How 'bout NO.
brantgoose: About 90-99% of the birds on Pacific Islands went extinct because of the introduction of predators into island ecologies which evolved without them. Cats, dogs, rats, mongoose, pigs, horses, cattle, and many other animals were accidentally or intentionally introduced and wham! bam!, there they weren't, many of the rarest, oldest and most beautiful species on Earth disappeared in the twinkling of an historical eye.So I guess what I'm saying is tuck in with my blessing. The more you eat, the less likely they are to eat you. And try the rat on a stick. It's delicious! If you were eating cat you'd notice. Land predators are not very tasty and tender unless they are bred for it. Rats are bred especially for food and most of us know that the Koreans and Chinese have bred dogs for centuries as food.In the sea, it's the other way round. The sea is a sort of topsy-turvy world with respect to the land and vice versa. Sea predators include blue fin tuna, salmon, and many of the tastiest game fish.I don't see why people shouldn't be allowed to eat some pretty disgusting things if they like so long as they don't 1) force other people to join in; 2) steal the animals; 3) abuse the animals; 4) slaughter them inhumanly or 5) spread disease and pollution.I would draw the line myself at anything that can do an amusing trick. Or that might be smarter than the stupidest humans. Whales, dolphins, chimpanzees, apes, monkeys, cats, dogs ... all too smart and cute and human like. Elephants might be smarter than some humans--they've shown signs of many human traits, possibly even the ability to recognize dead elephant bones as former family members or friends. On the other hand, horses are obviously as dumb as cows or very close, while being cute and cuddly looking doesn't mean you are. So seals and horses seem to be fair game although not in my personal cookbook.
God-is-a-Taco: Gone to Plaid:Damn dude, are you always so quick to write off entire ethnicities? You wan't to go on sheer numbers, white people are some of the most racist farks out there. Screw them too?No, by any measure white people are one of if not the least racist race on the planet. Put your white guilt away and look at the big picture. There are countries outside of those with white majorities, you just don't want to think of them because they're bad places to live if you're not a native.

netizencain: Hawaiians are some of the most racist farks out there.
dbirchall: And all this time I thought "Spam Meowsubi" was a typo.
