Amazing how many of you are white knighting the parents.

Facts: Jersey Princess' dad is a retired police chief.    Chief of police in Jersey is a political appointment.   Dad currently is township administrator in a neighboring burg.   Township administrators obtain their jobs through political appointment.    Her lawyer is plugged big time into Jersey politics, and is a Christie crony.

Wanna bet there is more going on here?  That Jersey princess is just a pawn in the game?

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who's best friend's dad says he supported the teen because she is a "terrific young lay." I guess it's pretty serious.

We wouldn't have any of these problems if we acted like a mature species and grew our offspring in vats.

JerseyTim: notatrollorami: Z-clipped: JerseyTim: You can tell how well-adjusted a person is by how viscerally they reacted to this story.

How do you mean? I don't grasp your meaning (either of you) and am genuinely curious.

The angrier a person is about this news story, the less reasonable a person they probably are. If you're so upset by this family's problems that you're spewing out insults like "biatch" and opining that she should become a sex worker, you probably need to take a step back and adjust your priorities.

I'm not sure there's a direct correlation here.  I mean, I don't give a crap about this story either way, really, and I'm a raging asshole.

I've always said that teens. especially boys, should be put in a barrel and fed through the bunghole.

And at 18 you decide to let them out or drive home the bung.

Thanks, Heinlein. Heard you were dead...

are you insinuating he was banging her like a snare drum?  plowing her like a corn field?  giving her the ol' high hard one?  slipping her the salami?

/you're probably right.

Just to help everyone understand what a helpful, caring, totally not banging his daughter's friends kind of guy he is... this is the bff's daddy that is bankrolling her lawsuit.

totally legit... not banging the teenager at all... certainly not an epic douche.

The digestive system doesn't work that way.

Oh, THAT bunghole. Nevermind.

Carousel Beast: Warlordtrooper: Walker: She sues you, then you let her move back in? K. Not only would I NOT let her move back in, I would put all her stuff out on the lawn.....in the rain.

So you would just cut your daugther out of your life forever?  You sound like a horrible parent.

How did you get your comment from Walker's?

But I'd do the same, and tell her she is not going to have a second chance to sure me by establishing that she lives at my home and having a much stronger claim to my being responsible for her.

Horrible parenting would be to reward her for her actions. I've seen firsthand in my own family how that works out.

You sound like an enabler.

Not an enabler but you don't just turn your back on family.  Especially your own kids.  No matter how much they fark up.

She suffers from Affluenza. Most kids living in Morris County, NJ suffer from it. There is a cure for Affluenza. It's called a WOODEN SPOON. They sell them in Bergen County.
