Matthew Perry is cursed. Just give up already.

Yeah... Friends was pretty much a flop.

That could actually work.

Could this BE a better rehash?

Yeah... Friends was pretty much a flop.

Since Friends he's anchored three different shows. None of them lasted more than 22 episodes.

Lennon is great.  Perry will forever be Chandler.

Oh look, yet another canceled Matthew Perry sitcom.

He's just ridiculously untalented.  I'm still stunned The Whole Nine Yards somehow warranted a sequel.

He couldn't save that awful Sean Hayes show though.

I'm surprised "Fools Rush In" didn't get a sequel.  That movie is awesome.

goddammit, just leave it alone, already.  We're running out of dead horses to beat, folks ;)

How about a remake - or full season of - Firefly.  Do something useful, for a change ;)

I hope he's at least getting paid well.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Lennon will be playing the Felix Unger part. He better still be rocking the Dangle mustache. I love that he grew it in real life.

Umm...
The former Reno 911 star will play Felix Unger, opposite Perry's Oscar Madison, in the remake of the sitcom, which featured Jack Klugman and Tony Randall.

The entire 'article' is 4 sentences, this was the second one.

Turn the volume off, fast forward through any shot that doesn't contain Salma Hayek. It's bearable.

It's too late, that window passed many years ago.

I was saying he should be Oscar, as Félix this will be canceled in week 6.

Perry will co-write the script for the pilot, based on Neil Simon's Broadway play about two mismatched housemates.

And they've lost me. Lennon should be writing it.

The only thing I remember about the insipid sitcom Friends is the one-off joke about how his TV Guide is delivered to "Miss Chanandler Bong."

I was pretty disappointed when they didn't renew Go On.

I'm hoping this is as good as it sounds. There's not enough Lennon on tv.

For a time measurement in the Hadron Collider, they used a Matthew Perry/Summer Glau pilot.

He should collaborate on a show with Tyler Perry. Can't begin to imagine how convoluted the name of the show would be.

If you want to see a post-Friends show starring a former Friend, watch Episodes with Matt LeBlanc.  He plays Matt LeBlanc, and it is brilliant.

Also worth watching for Tamsin Greig, who I've liked a lot since Black Books.

Not sure if you're talking about from an acting or a looks perspective, but I'd venture that there are better ones to fixate on than her.  The smallest part that is recurring that I find hilarious is Myra.  Completely a one-note character, but I find her "thing" hilarious.

Isn't every "roommates sitcom" of the past thirty years effectively a reboot of The Odd Couple?

"Lennon's new role has also been played on the big screen by Jack Lemmon and on stage by Dean Martin, Randall, Lem(m)on and Art Carney."

I wish I could've seen Lemmon and Art Carney.  That would have been a team.   Damn you, Yoko!

Yeah, I figured someone would have already pointed out that he already effectively PLAYED Felix.  Chandler Bing = Felix Unger to a shockingly high degree.  It's just that in the 90s they were able to use more graphic language to insinuate that he had the gay.

I happen to like Perry, pretty much entirely because of the persona he crafted in Friends.  I haven't seen him in anything else particularly good though, and chances of this being a hit are slim, but there's always hope?

Now all they need is a red-head gay and to live on Avenue A.

I thought he was good in West Wing and Studio 60.

Oh yeah, absolutely brilliant. I also like Kathleen Rose Perkins.
